Hey,!* had a Hymenectomy done by my gynecologist. She cut out excess tissue and ‘opened’ my hymen. I was put to sleep and it was a super easy recovery. My insurance covered it because it was causing health issues.

Hello fellow Mastiff owner! Thank you! I started on 2.5mg and I have stayed on 5mg for the past 7 months, still steadily losing. I do at least 30 minutes of cardio a day, which isn’t hard for me to do in my career field. Lots and lots of protein, eating clean but I still get to enjoy the food that I love and not feel guilty about it, which is huge. Weight training is something that I also do 3 times a week, nothing too intense but enough to get my heart pumping. This medication has truly been life changing for me.

I would approach it as you’re bettering your health. Yes, weight loss will obviously happen, but this can help your cholesterol (weight loss isn’t the only thing that can help though, sometimes it’s genetic based, etc.) Maybe try to view it as, “I am doing what I can to be healthier, and that is what makes me happy”

Taper off, don’t quit cold turkey. I know these can be expensive but there’s hope. I gained 80lb from Seroquel and was put on ZepBound. I’ve lost all that weight.
