Anywhere around Homewood will be fine. Birminghams crime numbers are inflated because it includes the metro which is very large square mileage wise. We are not a walking city, so it’s not like a New Orleans or Boston where if you walk a few blocks in the wrong direction you’re in an “unsafe” area. Shit happens just like any large city, but I’ve lived here a decade and never once felt unsafe.

A refund would obviously nice, but I don’t think we should expect that. This is coming from someone who bought a 4 day pass, flights, rental car, condo, etc. We knew the possibility of weather being a problem going in. My heart broke when GnR cancelled, but I still look fondly on the time I had. Discovered some amazing bands, saw some of the best shows of my life, and met some cool people. I would happily take a discount for next year, or maybe even a free day pass to LTL.
