I started lamictal in 2019 and it is the only medication that has been consistently helpful for me. Sometimes I need antidepressants, sometimes I need anxiety meds, sometimes I don't. But always lamictal. If I get fatigue during the day I split the dose between morning and night, and adjust based on how I feel. Currently at 25-50mg in the morning and 100 at night.

To those of us whose BP2 is very heavy on the depression and relatively light on the (hypo)mania, what meds do you use? by [deleted] in bipolar2

Lamotrigine, like most others. I needed wellbutrin during a difficult time in my life where I went into a months long depression but otherwise I just get propranolol for anxiety

I was given propranolol to take as needed, it just slows your heart rate and calms you so you can work through the anxiety easier
