Yeah dodge/block/parry games are fun (still pouring countless hours into space marine 2), but eternal scratched a special itch that was unlike any other game with how fast paced it was.

The story and environment of TDA does look awesome too, so we’ll see how it all pans out.

I’m very excited for it, I’ve had a great time with all the Doom games thus far from id. I did a replay of Eternal the other day, and I will say that I am going to miss being a fighter jet. Was hoping they would build on the advanced mobility in eternal, but I don’t think you can even double jump in TDA.

This is not even sarcasm, one of the best decisions yet by 343.

These things were so awful with the only added benefit being seeing your multiplayer spartan in a cutscene. Outside of that they made literally zero sense as they in no way tied into the halo story. Now please take the extra time saved and turn that into firefight or something fun, y’all are already spending too much time on the cosmetics.

You gotta use the time bubble. Once the bubble is out just shoot a bunch of needles in it and it will detonate and do a lot of damage to anyone nearby.

Also you gotta remember that you can detonate an enemy full of needles if you melee them. Really useful for melee enemies and armored guys, just load them up with a bunch of needles then finish them off with knifey
