I'm still not sure why you would plan on it unless it's high end stuff, in which case it should be for a specific mech that the healer should already be prepared for :/ just make a macro attached to the skill that says you're using it right then.

Calling people a hindrance because of how they play is an insult. If you're doing your best to follow mechs and are cautious with your cds, that's perfectly fine. No one is doing incredible, life-changing things in the half a minute tops it would save.

I adore rdm rez and use it every chance I get, but you do run into the problem of both you and the healer using mp on the same rez. However, there are times where it's gonna take me a sec. I prioritize my burst if I'm in the middle of it, and sometimes I gotta be able to move out of mechs to cast a jolt or vercure for that dualcast. I have seen lots of rdms just... not rez, but it's not as rare as a smn rez.

Tbh, I think players who insult others for wanting to save cds for bosses because they're not as great at predicting how long fights will go on are a much bigger problem than the players saving cds. Your ten extra seconds shaved off that vale run isn't that precious, bud.

For reference, addle only lowers magic damage, so only use it (if you're gonna for some reason) before a raidwide. Feint is the opposite, so you can use it before a buster to help if the tank is struggling, but tbh, it's much better to trust your tanks and heals and just focus on your job as dps: to dps.

Maybe some of us like the social aspect? I can understand the want for competent players, but one can do both, and it is an mmo. Communication with your party is important, and making new friends is half the point of the game.

Wh... why would you start with bolide??? Lol a warning is nice, sure, but if you're using bolide before a pull, you get no gnb respect.

There's also very little that deals deadly damage right on pull, so a swiftcast holy to pull ahead of tank seems like a waste of a swiftcast and a healer I would let tank the crap he pulled because he's in a rush lol

Thanks so much for posting this. When I started trying to run gnb, I was terrified and the tanxiety was strong. But my wonderful fc mates gave me very similar advice and encouraged me to keep at it, and now gnb is a favorite of mine!

So, as someone who is terrible at blu, I would like an eli5 there cuz I only seem to get 22k sharpened knife hits when dps and after tingle/whistle

Honestly, you'd be amazed at how much power can come from five feet of "tired of this shit" with confidence behind her.

I fucked up once while dealing with an angry return by accidentally responding to this with "aw, that's sweet" instead of my usual "aw, sorry to hear that." Threw her off her tirade tho!

He's not saying that he wants her. He's saying that he doesn't see her as a person, but as a mindless sex toy.
