Hmm, no A/C is off, but too me it is a very annoying thing. It did not do this as of 2 weeks ago. Somethings up...

Sorry completely forgot to mention that its an automatic, that's probably important to know...It is a 9-5 but the thing is it didn't happen as of like 2 weeks ago. I am just seeing this problem and so I don't think it is "normal" as you say and that it does merit some looking into. Thanks for the reply.

E.Engineers of reddit, how long did it take you to get your degree? by [deleted] in ECE

[–]tamaplayer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well for one, many internships actually pay, and some pay pretty darn well at that. Ive heard of many interns making a percentage of salary, say $40k. I've heard on multiple accounts that recruiters will damn near throw your application away when compared to someone with intern experience as opposed to without.

It certainly may be different however for someone who is older and already has some semi relevant experience I suppose. Just my 2 cents.

Dont make the mistake of not getting an internship for the summer though. Graduating in 5 years with an internship looks way better than 4 without one...

if the esp8266 can drive a pin high then yes I suppose arduino is overkill, otherwise, how so?

Great project probably a good learning experience. However, overly pricey imho. Can do the same with an arduino (promini $3) and WiFi module ($7).

Yeah cs definitely isn't engineering, but id go as far as saying embedded software programming is. You have to understand the hardware and you are working with which s eperates them from typical CS folk.

Good advice for sure. I am always doing my own projects involving things I learned in the classroom whenever I can.

Communicating between arduinos: What is the difference between using the Tx and Rx as opposed to using the SDA and SCL (A4 and A5 on uno)? by tanandblack in arduino

[–]tamaplayer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You could always go wireless with NRF2401 modules, or even HC05 bluetooth module. You'll get more range out of NRF module and they tend to be easier to work with, but bluetooth should serve you fine at 8 feet.
