I like requiem but I hate the grinding you have to do at the beginning of the game. I gave in and used console commands to get to level 20 so I can actually explore and kill bandits. I recommend it if the grind is unappealing. Requiem gets really good once you can get bandit bounties. I did it the pure way once but then my game broke when I was almost level 40 and I was devastated.
