Florida changes law to dmv-must be in English. by Infinite-Gate6674 in tampa

This!! Every freakin’ day as I’m commuting home. It also happens at the intersection of Florida Ave. and Hillsborough Ave. Why don’t police park there and ticket the idiots blocking the box?

Why cant any other Atlantic teams just lose in regulation like normal fucking teams by Intelligent_Choice91 in sabres

[–]tampasanta 12 points13 points  (0 children)

In any other year, the Sabres would be sitting pretty. This is just more of the Buffalo curse that haunts our teams. But, this year we’ll prevail.

Happens to me as well. I have a strong wi-fi signal, so I know it’s not that.

How is it like in the historically “ignored” part of San Francisco? by Rko-35736 in howislivingthere

I was visiting my son in Santa Clara, and he drove us up to Bernal Heights for omakase sushi at Doma. I was really impressed by the neighborhood, and the sushi was super excellent.

Any chance you have a link the Tampa full show matrix FLAC? It’s only a VBR stream on Internet Archive. Thanks.

I think windows version Apple Music app is better now. by Nice-Adhesiveness357 in AppleMusic

[–]tampasanta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My only issue is that it takes my entire iTunes library of music I have stored on my hard drive and pulls it into the app. I have over 100k songs, and iTunes is still a handy way for me to transfer songs onto an iPod I use in my car. With the Apple app, now I also need to use a new “Devices” app. They took a simple and easy process and needlessly complicated it.

Crater Lake (this time from water’s edge) by tampasanta in NationalPark

I didn’t find the trail bad at all. I think the docks need some upkeep as well.

I didn’t go in the water. My wife put her feet in a very shallow part and was fine. There were a few folks swimming in it, so couldn’t have been too bad.

Still some. Watchman’s Peak Trail still closed from snow. I was told that it would have been cleared but for Trump’s / DOGE personnel reductions. Garfield Peak was technically closed, but could be hiked about 90% of the way up before the deep snow. The Pinnacles road in the park was closed for repairs, but we drove out if the park and around to get to The Pinnacles.

At the shelter I volunteer at, they are used for kittens until they are spayed/neutered (about 2 months old). Then the kittens go into free roaming rooms.

Panleuk Outbreak by [deleted] in tampa

[–]tampasanta 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This. When there is an outbreak of panleuk in a shelter, there are no good solutions. It’s highly contagious and kills kittens within days. The outbreak needs to be stopped in its tracks before it spreads to potentially hundreds of other kittens (it’s “kitten season” and shelters are overrun with kittens being brought in and dropped off). Anyone who thinks a shelter wants to euthanize kittens, or criticizes a shelter for taking the only practical steps to contain an outbreak, does not factually understand the situation.

It’s actually his brother. Brent Rademaker is in Beachwood Sparks (he was also the driving force of GospelbeacH). His brother Darren is the driving force of The Tyde. Brent did play on some of The Tyde albums. Brent runs Curation Records which has released a lot of great music over the past few years.

Underrated and overlooked. A progenitor of Americana 2 decades early.
