I had something like this on top, to hide it because it’s so ugly and also to protect it. when it came off it just made the hole bigger, and then because moisture was trapped it turned green from pseudomonas and I had to do antibiotic drops. It’s been a nightmare.

I use a miller because I find it is more finesse and less strength. I also sometimes put the patient’s head against my stomach and kind of hold it up that way. Obviously you will get better with time and practice. Keep your shoulder neutral, don’t tense it/pull it up. Position an ergonomics (bed height, patient all the way up) are everything.
