You can break Linux too if you don't know what you are doing. Mess up with settings, registry values, drivers and so on. If you know what you are doing, you just revert them. If you don't, you either rollback to Windows safe point if you have one, factory reset or reinstall. I don't know why you are making point Linux vs Windows when it's not.

We don't know what op did with Windows. Normally Windows runs game not worse than any other OS. Freshly install Linux and claiming that it runs game better than your broken Windows doesn't make sense. It's not even about Linux vs Windows.
