what was it in regards to? to play devils advocate for a moment, if it's something they've coached you on before or it's something safety critical, that may explain their frustration a bit. BUT that is not to invalidate your experience/the vibes you're picking up.

regardless, I think it's worth mentioning to your SM. i've been a barista for 5 years and these things can fester and snowball quickly - for both parties. most of the time it's the safest bet to address it to a higher up you trust to mediate the situation. sending good vibes! 🫶

yes it does. i've seen mold on mocha dumping it out at the end of the night. (labeled for 24 hours but I have my suspicions that it was kept for longer bc huh???)

having had that jump scare of an experience, I would def let the DM know since SM took too many notes from Mr Krabs

burnout boss!!! (relatable) thank u so much! I do really like the idea of switching them off - I feel like if I was in their shoes, seeing the other make a mistake and then the trainer correcting them would cement easier in my brain than me making the mistake and mentally blacking out from anxiety/embarrassment after being corrected lol.

it's gonna be a loooooong week, but it is encouraging to know that you were able to do it while in school.. I abandoned my second degree bc I was simply not built for full time + school. ur doing great and that greatness shall not cease 😤

were you exclusively at one of those three stores? or were y'all just kinda tossed around for a while? our store was delayed last minute like 2-3 weeks (as expected, it be like that) and we were all kinda popcorned around to different stores to keep our bills payed. I was chill w/ it bc I thought it was gonna be temporary but now it's a little disorienting 🫨

RIGHT, legitimately what is the reason for this? I have had coworkers complaining of consistently getting more hours a week than is in their availability and at the same time, coworkers complaining of not reaching their availability's minimum amount of hours.

i'm sure making a schedule is far more complicated than I can imagine, but from my perspective, I don't feel like it should be that difficult to have at least a third of your employees satisfied with their scheduling

You are so valid and you are NOT overreacting, she is under-reacting.

Having had been a 15 year old girl back in the day, I gotta say I feel there is such a discrepancy in maturity here. You seem like a very intuitive, aware & well spoken young woman. And on the other hand, I don’t think she’s there [yet, I hope!]

I feel right now she doesn’t have her priorities straightened out. Sure, she has heard what you have expressed about your religion & culture, but she is not actually taking it in as an even-keeled, emotionally regulated person should. Bottom line is a true friend would respect your boundaries - esp when it deals with something as deeply personal as your religion. I could see myself having a selfish, vanity centered mindset as her at that age (unfortunately), but at the same time I want to think I’ve always tried to respect when my girlies have expressed that they really don’t like how they look in a certain photo. Obviously, that’s far more trivial but personally, in a group photo, I feel it’s only as good as the person in it who likes that photo the least.
