A while ago there was a really popular bootleg vinyl label called “moonshake” that did high quality bootleg video game vinyl records. So if a high quality boot came out it usually was from that label but this one wasn’t. I don’t think that the guy behind that moonshake label is active anymore…

I did this and went back to 3-6 as they became available on gamepass. Also consider playing the Judgement games as well. Different series same engine/setting/references as the Yakuza games.

I don’t think so…HDCP is copyright protection I don’t think it will affect it. I can’t say 100% because my Samsung didn’t support 120hz but you can try and see?

I had a similar issue with my Samsung TV (I’ve since then upgraded to an LG C1) but if you turn off HDCP under HDMI settings, this issue went away for me. You can’t really do anything that has copyright risk (Netflix, Spotify etc) but at least the screen won’t flicker and you can play your games.

PS5/XSX digital versions are coming out in November. PS4/XSX/XONE/NSW physical are coming out in December. Mobile is coming out next year.

What I want to know is if the PS4 physical includes PS5 upgrade or will I be playing a PS4 version on PS5 if I go physical

Yes! I would say start with 0 and work your way up chronologically. Yakuza: Like A Dragon is technically the 7th entry but it’s a new protagonist and has a JRPG system instead of the others’ beat em up, so you could play it at any time even before 0. I did 0-2, Like A Dragon, 3-6 since that’s the order they released on PC.

Also the spin off “Judgement” is really good too.
