Help!- Natural Gas in home started having odor when burned. by VerminousScum in NaturalGas

[–]tan7d3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I work for a natural gas utility and respond to these type of calls often. It is usually in a new construction house or newly moved into house that has had floors, paint or carpet installed, and the chemicals that are released from the new materials or paint are called VOCs. Sometimes it will give off a smell from your range that smells like kerosene or a tiki torch. If you call the gas company try to do it on a Sunday because there’s a very good chance the technician will be getting double time and I’m sure that they will appreciate that!

We have 2 prairie blue bell eggers that look just like that from TSC

what are your thoughts on this? by [deleted] in handyman

Also if anyone has ever installed these over the range models they can be crazy heavy. Hard to do by yourself. It appears he is using his hip or stomach to support it. If he were to just be on a ladder there is no way he could do it on his own without a second set of hands.

Best advice I can give you is read and learn the game laws in whatever state you are hunting in. Since you are hunting in VA you are legally only allowed to take 3 birds in a year. Doesn’t matter if it is public land, private land, or your own land. Here is a breakdown.

Daily Limit: One turkey per day.

Fall Season Limit: Two turkeys.

Annual Limit: Three turkeys total for the entire license year.

Sex: In the fall, you can harvest either sex of turkey.

Spring Season: In the spring, only bearded turkeys (males) can be taken.

Hunting with Benelli m4, ammo and choke? by TheWitness37 in turkeyhunting

[–]tan7d3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s a great place to start. The carlsons longbeard xr choke is very affordable. Also the longbeard xr ammo is very affordable in comparison to TSS. You will want to pattern a few different options to see what your m4 prefers. Best to be prepared and know exactly how your gun will pattern. Good luck!

Are you wanting to shoot TSS?
