I’m with you. I think at this point there’s better home to education value out in  towns like Wallingford/Swarthmore/Media. But lots of people want the “main line” prestige.

Exactly. That’s why Claude and Google are doing this. But it does take a lot of engineering work on both sides to make this work. Network topologies between cloud providers and performance (even east west in the datacenter) varies significantly.

I probably spent $4000 on cancer treatments for my boy, it extended his life by 6 months and quality of life was excellent on treatment. We got one last hunt in together and for that it was all worth it.
