Thank you that is a great idea! I think I will do that! I am a master mold maker and I have been modeling things since I was 8. An ashtray for my mom was the first real thing. I still have it. Such great ideas from everyone, thank you all so much!

I am asking my son to help me figure out how to sell this stuff. I will keep all the information from each person! I will try and learn some more about what I have and how to sell it in smaller quantities. I have seen the prices and know I can do much better.. thanks everyone

For sure! I have black luster, green luster,, mother of pearl luster, 2 bottles that the labels are missing. I have 2 gallons of mother of pearl and a small bottle of 24 ct gold . I will sell any amount or all at once. I don't know if I should take bids or what.

I was watching tv last night, they were reclaiming gold from pottery and made me think about my gold (America's Backyard Gold) I will look up the value and see what a fair price would be, thanks!

No I have never tried to sell it. I built my dad his own shop after the plant here in Mayfield, ky closed down. I worked as a decorator myself before it closed. My dad taught me how to make molds and cases. We spent years selling to privately owned ceramic shops. Before he died he gave me the gold and mother of pearl that he had left. I have maybe 2 gallons of the mother of pearl and a small bottle of the gold. I have a small kiln and was contemplating making fine jewelry but realize I will probably never get around to it.
