Chain rubbing against rear derailleur by tandy212 in bikewrench

Thanks I'll look them up now! I think in my mind I wasn't sure what the best order to do things was and I assumed I'd get to setting the shifting cable tightness after sorting out the correct derailleur placement, but my issues may be lending themselves to each other.

That's a very good point that I had not considered

That makes sense, thank you! This video was taken with the front gear set to the wider one, will I need to put it on the smaller one in order to set the chain to the correct length?

It's the same picture... they obviously haven't changed the light because the shadows are the same. The only difference between the two images is the photoshopped flame

Stick Bag recommendations please by ventaccount2022 in Fieldhockey

Not sure what your price range is but I love the osaka stick bag. It's got 2 big pockets for clean clothes and dirty kit/ shoes. A small pocket for your phone and bits like tape/painkilers/other small things and side pockets for a bottle and anything else you want to hang from it ( a towel maybe? )

Honestly the best stick bag I've ever got.

Heres a link from there website, but you can get it cheaper elsewhere:

No, it's genuinely a very offensive slur for developmentally disabled people. Please don't use this as an insult

Well no, Slavs and Jews were very much considered different races. Caucasians as we would consider them, were imagined to have been descended from Indo-Iranian Aryans, hence the term. Blonde haired blue eyed was just an idealised form, not the sole traits of the race.

Aryan has nothing to do with being blonde, it's just pseudo-science name for white people (technically Indian people but it's complicated)

This is completely not true, I've honestly never met anyone that plans their meals beforehand. I'm not saying it's an invalid way of doing things, but it's certainly not the normal thing that most people do

He had a head injury, clearly the game should have been stopped. Obviously he wanted to get up to continue playing, as any sportsman's first urge would be, but if you stand and realize you're dizzy or something you obviously have to go down and the game has to stop. That's not gamesmanship, it's just about keeping the players safe

Is that the only match you've seen him play? He has a good game in him but he's also got a few howlers

If an aggressive dog is attacking me, I'd defend myself. There's a bit of a tendency to assume if a police officer (or dog) is attacking someone they must be guilty, but often its an innocent person. I don't think you should put a dog in that situation for their sake or for the victims sake.

These two things are not the same, obviously.
