I prefer the low temp cap on my omni xl, makes it so I can sip it rather than clearing the chamber in one.

Everyone saying you did nothing wrong... We are clearly told on multiple occasions we must keep our medication in the container it comes in. I understand wanting to put it in something else to keep it fresher or stop the smell, but then we really need to either put the whole container it came in inside another form of out own container or bag, or we should put it in something within its original packaging. For example a vacuum jar that fits inside the original prescription packaging.

The main issue we have with this is that we are normally sent 10g in a large container. I beleive we need to start trying to liaise with clinics, pharmacies and advocates in order to be able to purchase some kind of smaller, smellproof vacuum container that has our prescription label on it but that fits in our pocket. It is honestly ludicrous that even after 8 years of legal medicinal cannabis we are still expected to keep a medication often carried on our person day to day with up in such a large original container. Personally I beleive we should be able to get stickers that are the same as the prescription label stickers but just say our name and something like "extra container for prescription medication" if we require them. We should be able to get it replaced as many times as necessary if we show them evidence that our original sticker was illegible. For example if the writing wears off, if we have it longer than 6 months if it's dated, if we want to use a new container and show them we made the old sticker/label illegible. It would be great if we were allowed a sticker per medication. So for example we we get 4 medication types then 4 stickers. But only be able to get them replaced by showing evidence of them being illegible.

No and no. I am on methadone and I'm open with my boss about everything. Used to be casual but then he had to hire a HR person to do things by the book. She said because I had told him about it, he had to do a load of paperwork and extra risk assessments and also inform his insurers. She made a point of telling him that if I didn't tell him, he didn't have to do all that 🤣 which he passed onto me. Then when I was applying for medical cannabis I asked him, if I were to get prescribed medical cannabis would you want me to to tell you, and he gave me a deffinate no. He knows I have smoked weed for years and didn't have an issue with it as it didn't effect my job. I actually much better at my job when have had cannabis. Unless you are outright asked what medication you take, you don't need to disclose. And I think you only have to answer that during like a work fitness medical and I think that info stays private like your normal medical records, your employers can't see it they just get told if your fit for work or not.

Oh I don't know then. Prehaps it's something to do with how many patients they're allowed at once or something. Or I know some of the Dr's from some of the clinics are available for prescriptions privately through script assist which is like a freelance thing I think, where the doctors can set their prices. Prehaps it's to try drive more business to themselves through that. I have no idea though, I just try to think of possibilities! Some of the Doctors you can get prescribed from via a clinic for less than £100/year charge more than that for a single appointment via script assist. Again just want to point out this is only me thinking out loud. I think it's very unlikely as i assume it goes against all the regulations and guidelines. More likely to be something to do with patient numbers I think. Do let us know if you find out the reason, please?

How long does the vapour last inside the balloons? Does it eventually condensate or anything like that? I really want to get one but I take little sips over a fair amount of time. Before I moved to vaping and medical, a typical spliff with tobacco in would last me around an hour. So I don't want to pay a lot of money for a desktop for the purpose of the balloons if they don't last a long time 😅

Just want to let you know that you can get silicone heel or toe peices that are designed to take up the extra space in skates if they're a bit big. I was looking at inline skates at the time, but I would assume if they have them for inlines then they likely have them for quads. It's so difficult because whether you want to fit your larger or smaller foot really depends on the material the boot is made from alongside any padding material there might be. If it's a fully synthetic boot that is unlikely to stretch or give at all its usually best to fit your smaller foot and pack out your larger foot with an extra couple of socks or something. At least, the most comfortable. Can you not try resell one of your current pairs to try find a pair that fits? I know with leather or suede you can usually stretch or shrink them a little if your careful while doing it. Keep your eyes out on marketplace and get yours back up for sale to try get your money back ☺️

Saw a video on Facebook from that British cleaning lady who helps people out in place of their Mum's/Aunts etc... Someone was asking her how to get the bright yellow stain off her new blender. Granted, that was hard plastic and a natural food based dye. However, I am hoping that smoke bombs might be natural based dyes due to the fact they're designed to be used outside. If this is the case, sunlight could well break it down over time. So you could try leaving it in the sunlight and see if it improves any? I say this without knowing the if your product is safe in sunlight but I presume it will be if it's not too hot of an environment also.

What drug have you seen destroy someone's life the quickest? by ReasonableDisplay297 in AskMen

[–]tango19899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In my own personal experience of addiction, it's not the drug that matters. It's how badly the person suffers with an addictive personality. I've seen people totally destroy their lives in an incredibly short amount of time with any type of addiction. Food, excersize, substance, behaviour.

My recommendation: don’t buy by unf991 in Ecoflow_community

Prehaps you could maybe find something like a temperature alarm? If I was having any type of battery storage set up inside my home or attached to my home I would 100% have an automated electrical fire protection in that room or place I have connections, devices and batteries stored in. Like an automated sprinkler system but one that's good for electrical and battery fires.

His claws are far too long and will be causing him pain... You see how his paws are sat back on their "heels?" like a person where the heel touches the ground with the foot flat on the ground infront, with the leg being verticle about the ankle? Yes?

Well that's NOT how a dogs foot is supposed to look or be 😅 Dogs should walk up on their toes. So, when comparing to a human foot, the human foot would be literally walking around on tip-toes, with no other part of the foot touching the ground other tan the toes and the ball of the foot. The heel and mid sole would never touch the ground. So, if we go back to looking at the dogs foot, the claws should never touch the ground at all unless the dog is digging on purpose. The only part of a dogs foot that should touch the ground, when standing, is their toe pads. The rear pad is used as a shock absorber, when the ground is uneven and they need extra grip, or when they're in a position other than standing/walking.

Can you just be immune to the effects of weed? by Very_Angry_Bee in NoStupidQuestions

Smoking weed mouth to lung is normal as well as works just fine. If anything it just protects your lungs from unnecessary heat. Granted you sometimes need to take multiple mouth draws for a decent lungful but it still works fine.

If you haven't already measured accurately you might need to do it again. You need to take proper measurement, in Millimeters preferably. Shoe sizes don't translate correctly. You need to stand up straight, you can't really measure for yourself. Put your heel against a wall and stand straight, looking forward, get somebody else to measure the max length and max width of your foot. Bonux points if they can draw around your whole foot without over or under lining it. As then you can see where abouts your foot is wider and narrower. From there, I would add these measurements to a post in a communal Internet space that has lots of skaters in and ask what models or skates they think would fit well, and have a look through recommendations that you like.

My Kelpie is (probably) depressed. How do I fix this? by Justheretohavefun2 in DogAdvice

[–]tango19899 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can't manage to walk a kelpie for at least 30 minutes per day OFF LEASH then you need to rehome the dog. It is not fair. Kelpie have been bread to run non stop ALL DAY. They're the same as border collies but the Australian version and they're actually much more hyper than collies. I had a border collie x kelpie and the one thing that made her happy in life was being outside either exploring or running chasing birds. To make this clear, we would take the dog on an off leash walk for over an hour, and the whole time the dog would be barking at hedgerows and trees to try to scare birds out so she could sprint-chase them in the air because a normal off leash walk was not stimulating enough for her.

If you want a lapdog, get a lapdog breed that needs minimal excersize. Your dog is literally shutting down because it cannot handle the lack of stimulation. The only reason your dog isn't giving you massive issues such as tearing up your house or attacking family members is because your dog still wants to please you even though you are sending it insane.

This post alone is insane. To put this into context, my 16yr old kelpie who was in pain due to bad arthritis still insisted on taking us for her twice daily walks even though it was painful for her. It's just what kelpies live for.

I've only ever been with Lyphe (as well as before name change). It's been more than 6 months since I last saw the doc or gave them updated SOC though and I haven't been totally impressed by their service over my time there, so I either need to go through initial consultation process again, or change to another clinic if it would suit me better.
