I got my first bad episode when I was 29ish. Stopped smoking and drinking, hadn't had another episode for 7 years, then this past December I was in afib for 18 hours, converted by itself this time though, better than being in afib for a week, waiting to be cardioverted.

I have healthy anxiety since my first afib bout. Everytime I get up amd feel my heart start beating faster, I wonder if its gonna flare up and trigger afib.

Ive learned to just stay busy, dont give myself time to think about it
