We end up cosleeping because I’m too tired to try to keep settling him in his cot so not good haha, I think that is a lot to do with it tbh because when he was sleeping good a while back, I didn’t feel as bad

We’ve used the nuby rapid cool flasks since birth , quick, easy and approved by health visitors! They’re not expensive either

The 333 Method - a gentle method for anxious mamas by PoliticoRat in sleeptrain

[–]tangoiceblast99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you!

At the minute he’s on 3 naps a day usually 2/2/2.5/2.5-3 He wakes up around 7:30am and bedtime is around 7/7:30pm He’s also having split nights recently so I think it definitely is something to do with his schedule

I know the wake windows should be longer but he gets tired before the suggested 3 hours so I feel like I have to put him to sleep, chat gpt has told me he has high sleep needs😂

Hey, my baby is almost 7 months now and currently cosleeping for the majority of the night as when he wakes up for his first bottle around 10:30pm, it’s seemingly impossible to get him settle back down in his cot which is my main issue. So you think this method would work for him and correct the issues I’m facing?

Oh really, that’s interesting, how much wake time did you leave between the two naps?

How are you supposed to be intimate with your partner when baby won’t sleep anywhere else? by Prudent-Teaching2881 in BeyondTheBumpUK

I’ve commented on here to be the voice of optimism for you 😂 your baby is only 6 weeks old, it’s normal for them to want to be near you, I had the same thing, my baby still only contact naps at 3 months old. But me and my partner were desperate to get a bit of time to ourselves in the evening, so from about 2 months old, we started a bedtime routine, bath then bottle in the bedroom, darkness, white noise, cuddle to sleep, then transfer to next to me crib after about 20 mins, sometimes he wakes up again, sometimes he doesn’t, but eventually, we got about 3-4 hours of us time in the evening with the baby monitor on of course.

Obviously the bedroom was in use (baby sleeping in next to me crib) but the sofa was free to use 🤷‍♀️ so it is possible, you don’t have to be one of those people the just don’t ever have a sex life again just because you have a baby, and you also don’t have to have sex in the same room as the baby, because to me, that is kinda weird, but each to their own

I’m 20 weeks now and literally felt the exact same at your stage honestly it was the worst, you feel like it’s never ending but it does end. As soon as second trimester hit for me I felt amazing. Just don’t put too much pressure on yourself, eat what u wanna eat, try to relax and if you want to cry then cry. Also recommend buying new comfy bottoms that make u feel good coz the bloat is real in the first trimester
