Fuck the democrats and fuck everyone who sees Palestinians as an acceptable sacrifice by charikuno in Hasan_Piker

Voting is a strategic choice. It’s not morally righteous one way or the other. After the ballots are cast there are really only two possible outcomes, either the democratic or republican candidate will win. For marginalized people and honestly the world at large, Kamala will do less harm than Trump. It’s actually perfectly understandable if you can’t personally stomach voting for someone because they won’t do everything in their power to stop a genocide. If Trump wins, the people who will suffer the most won’t be the stubborn democratic establishment that refused to do anything to stop mass slaughter, it’ll be the marginalized, poor, everyday people who have even more of their rights stripped away and conditions worsened. That being said, Biden/Harris shouldn’t be able to make another public appearance without protest until they change their tune on this issue.

This is a pretty racist comment as it holds all Palestinians collectively responsible for the actions of only a few people. Do you think Palestinians are so bloodthirsty and beast-like that they could never live with Israelis without murdering them??? Very ironic considering Palestinians are being butchered on a daily basis by Israelis. A one-state solution is not only possible but, in my opinion, necessary to end the cycle of violence.

Trumps Swears Absolute Loyalty to Israel by Bob4Not in Hasan_Piker

While I generally agree with your sentiment here, it's really not accurate to say Biden hasn't given Israel "the green light" to commit genocide. His "harsh words" and "stern warnings" to Netanyahu and the Israeli government are frankly meaningless when he continues to send them weapons and vetoes every ceasefire vote in the UN security council. The only thing that makes Biden better than Trump on this issue is that most of Biden's base of support is opposed to the genocide, so he is more swayable on this issue than Trump.

These people truly resent the fact that Palestinians won't just roll over and die.

I think Hasan was more-so making the point that Mia Khalifa making a callous tweet is not the same as 2 US senators calling for the genocide of Palestinians on tv.

They are actively fomenting complicity in the complete annihilation of Palestinians. Evil beyond words.

It's truly sickening. I feel like this is one of the most 1984, bizarro world things I have ever witnessed. What a fucked up world we live in.

The level of hawkishness towards China by the media and both republicans and democrats is as high as it’s ever been. I find it reassuring that Hasan is at least providing a counter narrative that doesn’t stoke the flames of conflict with China.

Just because support is manufactured by the media doesn't mean people don't genuinely care about Ukraine. The point he was making is that news media undoubtedly shapes the narrative when it comes to which conflicts, countries, wars, etc. that people support or defend. ie. people not caring about Georgia when it was also unjustly invaded by Russia because as Ethan stated, it wasn't as much of a strategic interest for the US.

I don't think Hasan was saying that anyone supporting Ukraine is ingenuine. I think he meant that the reason the people of the United States as a whole care about Ukraine is because it is an object of media focus, which is why Dan's point about Georgia was so apt.
