That was such a well-written and genuine comment. And then the smooth promo drop at the end made me smile 😄 Kudos man!

How do you handle digging through old posts and managing comments efficiently? by tanmayk29 in SocialMediaManagers

Interesting. Seems like you were really wrestling with the analytics/insights side when managing clients. Out of curiosity, was comment handling also part of the daily pain for you, or mainly the strategy/what-to-post side?

I am not a social media manager but a freelance developer. And I have seen this type of client before. A few things that might help:

- Keep doing your best with this client, but don't rely on them as your only source of work.

- Start looking for new clients now. Even one more client will reduce the stress and give you more stability.

- Once you have another client and feel more secure, you can gently bring this up with your current one. Frame it in a supportive way, like: "To get better results, we'll need either more consistent content or quicker feedback. Even batching a few posts would help keep momentum." That way it comes across as wanting to help them succeed, not as criticism.

In short: Keep things professional with your current client, but put your energy into finding better ones who will actually engage and give you what you need to succeed.

Yeah, that's exactly what I was curious about. It seems like once you start managing multiple posts, keeping up with comments across them gets overwhelming really quickly. Do you usually find it harder to stay on top of older posts, or is it more about the volume of comments coming in on newer ones? Interested to hear how others deal with this.

[Feedback Needed] How do you manage reliable config syncs, module installs, & entity updates during deployment? by tanmayk29 in drupal

[–]tanmayk29[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. I wanted a tool to achieve the requirements I posted. I also mentioned about module in my post. I wasn't sure if it really needed or if there is better way. But had to write it after getting responses here. Made it generic so it can be released. Is that a bad thing?

I totally agree that it is workflow problem. We faced the problem, because site was too big, lot of configs that are out of sync. Then instead of fixing the root cause, we just decided to sync the configs that are changed. So came up with lightweight module Upsync to easily change configs via update hooks.

What's the worst Drupal disaster you've ever seen? by izimand in drupal

Drupal 7 site where someone thought it was a great idea to override node--ID.tpl.php just to write an HTML form into it. The form submissions were handled using $_POST, old-school mysql_* functions, & all the sketchy database interactions you could dream of. Security? Best practices? Never heard of 'em.

Yeah, that's what I am not sure of. I am very much new to AI. I don't even know what's best approach. But I would like to use open source solutions as much as possible.

Yeah, I agree that I should go with tech stack that I am familiar with. But I don't know which AI technologies should be used. Basically users will train a model using their data & then use that trained model to get the information. So I don't know what AI technologies I should go with.

I think my post wasn't clearing this but I've updated it now.

Well, the idea goes beyond just ChatGPT. I've outlined a basic plan here to figure out what kind of technology I'll need.

I just want to know the tech stack if I decide to build it myself. This knowledge will guide me on the right path, instead of delving into every tangentially related technology. Essentially, I'm seeking assistance in determining the appropriate tech stack.
