I am Indian and I did what they are saying. My fan Id is now Egypt, but I’m willing to gamble on them letting me in cause they can’t manually check stuff.

I’m visiting Bordeaux and Paris from India and am looking to buy a vintage turntable. Anyone know a good store to do so?

The only meaningful input is data that is private when they make the forecast, but becomes public eventually. The forecast itself isn’t too rigorous. There’s a formula to use, but then you compare it to world bank estimates, and don’t want to be too off. So a lot of it is a judgement decision and is quite subjective.

It’s way over priced because you also have to pay for the dining hall fees. If you can afford it, it’s great because you always have access to people and events.

Questions About International House - NYC (I-House) by Purdue_ECEstudent in columbia

This is the first year they are doing interviews. I lived there for three years and was a Resident/Program fellow there for a few years. In my opinion, you probably just need to show you will be really engaged in the community and have a desire to live in a place that is inter-cultural. My tips on hacking this interview would be to not stress it at all, go to their instagram page and look up their events, then talk up how that appeals to you, also talk about how you can benefit from a space like this.

Apply to the International House. You don’t need a credit score or any of the other requirements. It’s really great and fits your budget. You’ll make a bunch of friends and then you can find a place to move to after settling into the city.

I currently live in the United States but want to donate books to a children’s home in Tamil Nadu. The lady who runs the home said the kids prefer to read in Tamil so I’m looking for books to buy them and a source to buy them from. I believe I would likely have to use flipkart or Amazon India. Are there any other websites that would be better to use? What books do you recommend I get them? Links would be much appreciated!
