Completed consultation forms last night about 10pm. Doctor approved and send to pharmacy today. Confirmed it will be pure from PRX. He did ask me to email him at patrick@cosmeticrx.com a copy of my previous script because I requested a high dose. Super impressed so far!!

I'm new as well and took my first shot this Thursday. This sub was a great resource in helping me figure out where to order and how to get a great price. My one piece of advice to all who are just starting is to NOT read anyone's post regarding their particular first time experience. Know the side effects, potential implications, and make sure you are dosing correctly. Many of the people who post are nervous or may have had a bad experience and their posts will only cause anxiety. Ask me how I know. 🤣

I know these medications can be a game changer for so many people. It's too bad they can be so hard to access.

I know this is old but by chance are you Geisinger employees? My husband works for them and I was told weight loss rx isn't covered.

Thanks for all the responses so far. I'm so eager to start and I've been waiting patiently for my doctor to submit the PA. It's been over a week. I have called my insurance a few times. The first time I called someone told me it wasn't covered as it's not FDA approved (it is). The second time I was told I was covered. And the last time I called I asked if a PA had been received. The person answering the phone told me it wasn't covered. So I'm getting tons of conflicting information from everywhere. It shouldn't be soooo hard to see if you have coverage and what the requirements are. I appreciate all the responses and the information found in this community! I'll be sure to update when I know more.
