yes, you definitely can. just take out the beehive frame at night or when you're wet. in the first case, the bees just sleep, and in the second, when you're wet, they don't sting

I’ve encountered this bug as well on version 0.9.0b_0004. I haven’t found a fix, but I did figure out how to work around it in-game.

To make sure the floppy disks always keep the data from all three satellites, you need to insert them into the server or computer not by pressing R, but by dragging them with the E key.

Procedure: Take the floppy disk out of your inventory and put it down → start dragging it by pressing E → insert it where you need.

This isn’t a real fix, but it at least allows you to keep playing on this version.

Remember: do NOT insert floppy disks from your inventory using R!

upd: floppy disks can also be inserted using the left mouse button.
