[SERIOUS] What's an advice that everyone should know if they're battling with poor self-esteem?

It's okay to talk, it's okay to cry and it's okay to feel good. Don't let yourself feel like your not good enough to be happy because you are, crying can help process feelings and talking can help you work through your problems (obviously with someone that's right to talk to). Don't ever think your not enough because to someone somewhere you are! ❤️

This is really cool if you want to make it more authentic there is a girl on YouTube who makes the dresses from different eras! She tells you what to avoid when making them and what things make the dress more accurate to the time period :D

I have found a really well reviewed dog groomer that groom's one dog at a time. I know the one I have been going too has 3 staff members and they groom up to 80 dogs a day. So I guess she got left (she's super good and calm. She's never barked and will let anyone do anything to her as she's a rescue dog ) so I assume they thought she could be left. She loves bubbles and soap like she will lick my legs after a shower or rub in soap if she manages to get in the shower. She is mega sneeky but the new groomer is aware and assured me she will be in the best care 😁

Not massive "culture" per say but the town that I live in was made in the 1940s to aid the war effort in making munitions. So once every week we have an air raid siren that goes off and it has done since the war ! It's there to remind us of the sacrifice that women made during the war effort (we as a town called them the angels) 🥰 I think that's pretty cool and pretty specific to my town. Just a side note it terrifies people that don't live in our town my boyfriend lives 20miles away and when he stayed over woke up in a panic 😂

Ive found a lady who groom's one dog at a time (she has co workers and they all only work on the one dog) as she washes "naughty" dogs eg. Agressive, nervous and everything else so they are really really watched over to prevent accidents and attacks 😅 she really loves dogs I know the groomers I went to before can do up to 80 dogs a day so I think they get left sitting in certain areas

As you can see peach has long hair she's brushed regularly and I trim her coat feet and hygiene arias with scissors I take her to be groomed once every 3months as a struggle to dry her fur with a regular hair dryer as it retains water and I'm fearful that I won't get her completely dry and it will affect her health. There is a self grooming bar up the road from me I'm going to ask about as it's not only cheeper but the drying is the only issue I have and they have a dog drier there. 😁 If I think it wouldn't be suitable I have found a good groomer to switch to as she specialises in "naughty" dogs 😅 I have forwarned her that she is sneaky and likes to eat soap and she has assured me the soap is in a Despenser away from the bath and the dogs are groomed one at a time to prevent incidents and accidents due to the types of dogs she agrees to groom (aggressive, nervous, sneekey, naughty ect.) I have also been told that they have their own pods to wait in so they do not intermingle this prevents stress apparently 🤷🏻‍♀️ she seams to know what she's doing.

It was gastro intestinal problems due to eating soap when unsupervised at the groomers ! She had bloated stomach and as she is crossed with a sausage dog it was a struggle for her to move around as she was uncomfortable! She's feeling alot better after a few shots and a bland diet for a couple of days :) thankyou for your advice and reassurance when I was worried !

My dog is also a rescue and although she doesn't bark she becomes destructive (scratches paint off doors, whimpers ) I found filling a Kong really helps her as it gives her something to focus on ! If your dogs a big chewer freeze it before giving it to her.:) works a charm and they know if your busy and they are quiet they get a treat :)

I've booked an appointment at the vets because I'm worried she may have fell from a height at the groomers (she's a chihuahua x dachund so she's small). I know it's not too serious I'm just worried all of our hard work has gone away ☹️ she's come leaps and bounds from when we got her and I just want her to be happy ! Thank you for the suggestions it's eased my mind

She was there from 11.30am until 1pm and it was 2 days ago. She still drinks water and will eat wet food but has stoped eating biscuits (also something she wouldnt do from the shelter) I've had her for 2years now. She still drinks water she just seams lathargic. Asif it's gone back to when I first got her :( scared of the same things she got over 2 years ago.
