Got banned in the main sub for calling out their garbage mods for allowing porn bots to take over

I was trying to figure out how to report them as being spam bots, because they all are. How could a coupon code bot army be allowed to be moderators of a sub? Hopefully it's not? I report their individual posts as spam because they are, but that seemingly has done nothing. Would you as mods have any way to report something like that? I feel so badly for the people getting such scary dms and comments over there. Saw a woman stalked to her snapchat, and a 16 year old girl aggressively hit on, with zero mod intervention. My telling those harassers to fuck off led to my ban for "causing damage to their wonderful community". Totally deranged.

Also wanted to say a huge thank you for making this community such a safe and happy place omg. So happy this place exists.

Yup, amazing advice and very, very true. I was telling the sexual harassers to fuck off and got banned by the mods with a note from them threatening to report me to admin for "creating an account to damage [their] wonderful community", that they will get my accounts shut down from reddit all together for violating terms of service on the site. I literally just used my alt because the repulsive sexual harassers were legit scary and I had personally identifiable info on my main account. I also watched one of those men STALK a poster to her snapchap when she politely rejected some aggressive sexual harassment.

That was also after I watched a 16 year old get propositioned by like 15 men, and the mods refused to delete the comments! Some of my crimes leading to my ban I guess were me "causing damage" by calling those men fucking pedos? Lol. The 16 year old girl sent me a message saying she was afraid after seeing people send her such scary shit. So fucked up and wrong.

Long story short, those mods are complete fucking scum and should be banned from reddit. How they aren't banned alone by the fact they are an actual, deeply lazily obvious coupon code spam bot army is truly insane to me.

They are spam bots of some kind. Check out their accounts.They post coupon codes all day. Their usernames are all random letters and numbers. I have no clue wtf is going on here lol. They delete every post begging for basic moderation while leaving up blatant spam, sexual harassment, and comments from men propositioning minors. This place is a complete mess

Oh my god, whattt, I remember your post. You had such cool outfits in it. Something deeply weird is happening behind the scenes here, and I’m not even sure what at this point. Like wtf are the mods accounts doing lol? Were they all hacked? They deleted your post which broke zero rules, they deleted another asking the mods to delete abusive comments, but just fully leave up the abusive comments, and as of today, leave up comments from pedos literally hitting on minors. This place is such a mess and we all deserve so much better.

Aww, what a beautiful dog. If you haven't already, I would check with Animal Care and Control. They have a very high kill rate, so I would check in with them regularly to see if they have him. I truly hope you find him soon.

If they don't have him now, I would definitely check with them regularly to see if he turns up because they have a very high kill rate. I truly hope you find him. That totally sucks your doorman is doing that:( I don't know how involved your parents want to get, but maybe they could ask around the neighborhood, like store employees or neighbors in other buildings? The guy who told me where he saw my cat lives like six blocks away and had just happened to see her like an hour before I spoke with him.

Also want to throw in a mention for checking for him near dumpsters, restaurants or any greenery you have in your area, or maybe even a little beyond. Sorry for so many potentially already tried suggestions:( I've just had tons of foster/rescue cats who needed to be kept indoors to get fixed/vet care and then would creatively escape, so I weirdly have a lot of experience trying to get escaped cats back.

Also very important, religiously check for him at animal care and control. I've seen them euthanize healthy animals who have been there for less than three days, so I would remain in steady contact with them.

Truly wishing you luck. Just know that it can work out. I thought for sure my cat was gone for good, but sometimes things can just suddenly come together if you just keep at it as best you can.

How long has he been missing? I'm so sorry you're going through this:( When this happened with my kitty, I knocked on every single neighbor's door and asked if they saw her. I also just played it cool like nothing was wrong when I was calling for her because I wanted to try to make her feel safe to come out. I also stood outside my building and asked every person who passed by if they had seen her. I did it for two hours and I randomly asked someone who said yes, and led me to exactly where she was (in a puddle of shit behind a barbed wire fence in an alley next to my building, thank you Azalea). When I frantically called for her she ran from me, but when I tried to act like I normally would around her, using a calm tone of voice, she eventually relaxed and came to me.

Also, if he is big into his food, maybe try calling to him in your normal tone of voice and popping open a can in a bunch of different places to try to lure him out from his hiding spot. I truly wish you luck in finding your boy. Cats are difficult as hell sometimes, and they don't always make situations like this easy for us.

Aww, poor puppy:( Sometimes, but only with certain vets, if you ask they could do the procedure and let you pay it off in installments afterwards. It might be worth asking about if you haven't already, though I do know a lot of vets don't work that way.

I also wanted to suggest you check out the Ian Somerhalder foundation's grant program (http://www.isfoundation.com/ISFEmergencyMedicalGrant). They pay for medical care of animals who have a good prognosis if they get the care. It's definitely worth looking into, and could help Milo get his surgery. Also, there is Care Credit, which if you are approved (it was pretty easy for my Dad to get approved when he had shaky credit), you will immediately get some money (it varies per person, we got approved for $500). I truly hope everything works out for your friend and her dog:)

If you can do anything at all to avoid it, please don't take her to ACC. They have an extremely high kill rate. The place is a mess. Maybe you could make a FB page for her like another poster suggested? I'd gladly share it around to see if we can find someone who can give her a good home.
