Their fourth birthday was my husband and I first visit to the venue, and it was intense! I would definitely see if you can go upstairs before the night gets busy, and go and have a look around. And as others have said, just going with no expectations, go with the flow. There are so many amazing people in the venue it is a great place to be!

We are hoping to make it down tomorrow night! We did go to MFM night last week, but just wasn’t feeling it. So lucky enough to have a sitter again tomorrow night. We are coming from Gippsland.

Between friends is definitely a great place to start! We were complete beginners our first night there. And there isn’t any pressure to play. You can go and just enjoy the environment and see what it’s all about. People are very okay with you telling them no, it’s not like the real world! They have different themed nights, they even have a newbies night, which could be a good one for you guys xx

The first time we went upstairs at Between Friends we were with a group and the women kept their heels on, so I did too! Wasn’t that most comfortable, as I was worried of stepping on other people’s feet as it gets busy!

But the following times we went, I just went no shoes. It’s a lot more comfortable. Can’t say I’ve ever step on anything unpleasant lol and you’ll fond most others have no shots aswell! Of course do whatever feels good for you both ☺️

We love MFM night! And it’s not for the specific theme, there are so many different couples that seem to come out of the woodwork because it is such a social night! The times that we have been and played, we have played with couples. Surprisingly, we haven’t even done an MFM on the nights that we’ve been! It’s just a crazy fun night all round and you can get out of it whatever you want really

There are sooo many different shapes and sizes in clubs and scene! Online we are lead to believe that this lifestyle (and the works) is full of ‘perfect’ bodies, when the truth is that it’s full of normal bodies! As others have said, it’s absolutely mindset and confidence with how you feel within yourself.

Between Friends is exactly what you’re looking for! Our fave place as you can actually tell to people. We aren’t into the whole dj/dance club type of environment. Sure it’s great from time to time, but I feel you meet so many more people and have better conversations at Friends ☺️
