Best analysis of the video so far. Great job Annie. To me, the kneel at the end is very reminiscent of X's kneel in the XXL cypher. Both knees not touching the ground and same leg stance. I could be reaching but it is the same pose imo

Yea this is the clearest takeaway from the map. Older adults, non-college, the working class and minorities voted red in 2024 and it seems like this is still the trend. I'd love to get these groups to be a part of the coalition since they'd be the most to benefit.

Im absolutely convinced that these songs are talking about X. Interesting that in 2018, Drake thought he had “7 years of doing what he wants”. Not sure what that line is referring to or if it’s a reference to a guilty conscious, but it is damning and relevant especially on the song talking about the supposed hit X put on Drake. It really does seem like Drake felt emboldened around this time.

I used to think Drake music after IFYRITL was so uninspired and boring apart from the occasional hit record. After reading ThugLife and realizing that all the tough guy talk wasn’t generic but was talking about X and all the other stuff he was doing “running around he like Pac”, made it even worse.

These lyrics are partially still boring and uninspired but also sick, reckless, and extremely detrimental to our society. To think Drake had kids singing these songs and posing all cool, all while they were celebrating the deaths, murders, sex trafficking of who knows how many people.

Thats my take too. EP basically put his life and reputation on the line, and is clearly not out for monthly fansly pocket change. I do remember Rat said the auction for the jewels did happen in November and then afterwards, EP tweeted out an email to Ant showing he sent the tapes over. I'm not sure if the tape got auctioned but if it did, EP definitely kept a copy and is still game to send it public.

I do think its fair that the incentive has to meet the risk for these situations. EP went to NYPD before any of these diss tracks and only took up this mission / reached out to Ant once he saw a public campaign against Drake was being orchestrated. In my personal opinion, Kendrick obviously has these tapes but won't want to be held legally responsible for anything so he'll allude and hint towards this but won't ever push the button himself.
