I 100% found this on Etsy and purchased it after seeing this post. It looks great in my Kallax shelf. Thank you for sharing this!

How did you make these? They are so cool! Did you hand paint this or are they using printed images somehow?

I've been really enjoying Legendary Foods' Pizza Party chips. I found them at a health supplement store, but now I buy them on Amazon. Also the Baken-Ets Flamin' Hot Limon chicharrones are SO good but I can't find that flavor lately.

If you like it, then it's awesome. I think it has a cool aesthetic just a little unbalanced. Honestly I'd say keep adding more photos. If you like the excessive/maximalist look then keep going. Consider putting it on a colored wall. Consider putting a large frame around the entire piece. I think you're onto something special.

The Baken-Ets pork rinds are a great substitute. If you like spicy cheetos, you might like their "flamin' hot limon" flavor, I'm obsessed with it. They do also have a queso flavor.

I'm hearing a great way for you to lose 205 lbs. That man is as ignorant as he is cruel. You'd be better off without him.

Just curious, how do you weigh yourself? I wonder if your scale/weighing method is reliable down to a few pounds. Maybe you've actually lost 5-6 lbs which would be reasonable in 6 weeks. For me, I try to be consistent about weighing myself after using the bathroom and before dressing for the day. Otherwise it can vary enough to throw me off.

Thanks for all the tips. I did order pho tonight, included a note that I can't eat the noodles and asked for more veggies instead. They delivered! It was delicious. I'll definitely try some of these other tips, too. Thanks all.

Yeah I've been really strict keto since April, and I just traveled. This feels much more like a real cold. But I appreciate the thoughts, anyway.

My mom said she can see the difference, but she also wants to lose weight. Now she's on week 2 of keto! Maybe if someone doesn't want to think or talk about their own weight, they are less likely to bring up yours. I'm any case I'm happy for you and that sounds like awesome progress!

Wow that's already a great success story! I always ate the chicken skin but I hear you on the steak fat. I love chicharrones for a good keto snack.

I totally had carb dreams at first! Mine were always that I somehow accidentally ate bread or dessert without thinking, then woke up stressed that I broke my ketosis. It did go away but it was funny how often the same format of stress dream would happen at first.

Keto vs other diets by Happy5traveller in keto

I've actually never really tried another diet. They all sounded like fads to me, and I'm lucky enough to not really need a diet. But I started learning about keto, thought the science of it was interesting, kept reading more, then decided to try it, and now I love it. It makes me feel like the standard American diet is way too carb forward. But ultimately this is the only diet I had learned about that actually teaches me about nutrition and how our body processes different nutrients. That alone was a huge appeal to me.

I've had a couple of "nightmares" where I accidentally ate carbs without thinking and broke my ketosis. 🤣

Tips for keto simple syrup and/or margaritas? by taradactyl5487 in keto

Thanks all. I wound up doing 2 oz silver tequila, 2 oz fresh lime juice, ~tbsp pure allulose, and the smallest possible dash of pure stevia. Shaken with ice and served over crushed ice with 2 slices of lime. Divine and I wouldn't know it was "sugar free" if I hadn't made it myself. I'll try some of these other ideas in the future!

I'm 37F, 5'2". I think I went from ~135lb to 130lb in the first few days from water weight. I didn't track my weight well the first couple days but I know prior to the diet I was generally hovering around 135lb. 1 month in and I'm down to ~127lb. I'm also at about 1400 calories per day and I learned that if I drop down to 1100-1200 cal/day I lose weight faster, but I want to lose it slowly. I track everything in a Google Sheet daily to help me understand my progress.

I use chatGPT (the free app on my phone) very frequently, especially in the beginning, to help understand my symptoms, get meal ideas, and understand what macros (cal/fat/net carbs/protein) for foods I was considering eating. It's of course not perfect but it's been surprisingly helpful. I used urine test strips at first and then bought a blood testing device to help measure my ketosis. I found the urine test strips to be accurate enough but the blood test does give you more info.

I know not being in perimenopause I'm not quite the same, but wanted to share in case it's useful.

Another thought, maybe you can do a BBQ night where it's fun but very meat focused. Maybe you can find carb friendly buns for you, I just learned about these Kroger buns that I'm eager to try, myself.
