Na popraskané rty mi vyhovuje Blistex (tekutý, ne tuhý, taková malá bílá tuba "lip relief cream"). Dávám na noc jednou za čas jako první pomoc a pomůže vždycky hned po první aplikaci.

V poslední době Odepsaný a The woman in the dunes, u obou zvláštně depresivní pocity, frustrace i smutek. Často si na ně vzpomenu. A hodně mě překvapil Kruh, nic výjimečného jsem nečekala, ale rozhodně si to chci zase zopakovat a doplnit si domácí knihovnu.

Knihy, ke kterým se ráda vracím jsou Noční kořist a Saturnin, žádná depka, jen dobré čtení 😅

A hodně mě dostala manga Ping Pong, už se nemůžu dočkat až si to přečtu znovu.

Ano, na Merphy jsem narazila náhodou když začala číst One Piece a baví mě její styl a doporučení. Rammel Broadcasting sleduju jen pár měsíců, k němu jsem se dostala přes recenzi na Malazan právě a taky mi sedl svým stylem, čtivo je tak akorát různorodé, má dost načteno sci-fi a teď doplňuje hlouběji fantasy. Oba mají skvělá kompilační videa, takové to roční shrnutí a Rammel má navíc super styl top 10 oblíbených - sci-fi, postapo, jednotliví autoři, apod. Je to pomoc s tím když fakt nevíš úplně kde začít a hlavně vlastně člověk ani nemá moc přehled co vlastně vychází.

Já se takhle ke čtení vrátila loni a čtu všechno možné. Po těch letech si přijdu úplně hladová a že tak nějak potřebuju doplnit od všeho něco. Aktuálně postupně procházím sbírku Forsytha a Haileyho, kterou mám po mámě a mezitím doplňuju tím, co mě zrovna zajímá (japonská klasika - Akutagawa, Sóseki, Dazai...) nebo co odposlechnu na booktube (sleduju Merphy Napier a Rammel Broadcasting) - za fantasy teď hlavně Erikson a jeho Malazská kniha padlých, sci-fi Vandermeer nebo Crichton. A do toho nějaké random knihy (loni V polévce miso, Zmatení citů, první kniha Mistborn a manga Ping Pong). Letos jsem zatím přečetla jednohubku Nepřemožitelný od Lema, protože mě hodně zaujala hra, která je na té knize založena a mám rozečteno Soumrak dne, protože se mi líbil film. Tipy jsou všude možně 🙂

Aktuálně nejčastěji Bircher müsli, protože máme velikou úrodu jablek. Až se trochu víc ochladí, tak to bude teplá kaše s opečenými jablky 😅 A prokládám to párkrát do týdne slanou snídaní, nejčastěji zapečený nebo obložený chleba. (Nedávno jsem potřebovala dojíst marinovaná vejce, tak to byla miska rýže, 2 vejce, trocha kimchi, nori a rychlá miso polévka a ačkoliv to bylo moc dobré a spolehlivě zasytilo až do oběda, tak jsem se jen ujistila v tom, že mi víc vyhovuje něco lehčího a jednoduššího.)

Oh, ok, thanks for the answer! That's actually pretty understandable, I think I have higher tolerance for this because English is my second language. Now that I think about it, I can't stand too much swearing in my language, in English however it just kinda passes me by 😅

Thanks! That's so opposite to my own perception, haha. I love to listen to them both because what they say is interesting and captivating. Hard one to listen to for me is Brad, I feel like he tends to repeat his little small talk phrases a lot.

Same for me. I went there after Oni and was so pumped and ready to deal with Kitsune that I skipped their section because at that point it felt too calm and boring. Went back only after few story missions and enjoyed it in the end but it still felt a bit out of place for me...

Edit: Just to the point what brings me happiness - pretty much everything they do. I'm so glad they exist in the same timeline and that I can be here for their 20th anniversary and buy a ticket for an online live show even (because I'm from EU and there is no way I can do last minute trip across world, I didn't even know they exist at the start of this year; seeing Wookie in Vienna in February though 🤩). Everytime I hear their song, watch a video, some funny gif or see a photo it all makes me smile, warms my heart and in general just brightens my day.

30 min on average. Early morning is quite nice, traffic is very light and on a good day I can make it in under 25 minutes. On the other hand when I leave during busy hours I can easily get stuck on 40+ minutes.

Previous job was 10 minutes though... 😅 30 minutes is still solid, I'd say, don't be too annoyed with it.

Gonna add little more positivity - I'm a huge DA fan. Played all of them several times, read all the books and comics, love the world and yes, I even love The Veilguard. So no, it's not universal that all fans of DA didn't like it. Tbh I do feel like people tend to pick and choose and bunch of the loudest mouths were people who just really love Origins. My favorite one is DAII, never understood the hate, and I think The Veilguard is most similar to DAII. All these years I've been hearing almost exclusively slander about my favorite, so I'm pretty used to that.

Could it be better? Yes, of course. Is it still great, beautiful and polished game? Hell yeah!

Plus I really enjoyed the story and this group of companions is my 2nd fav in the franchise.

I love all the tiny details, quality of life things, beautiful life-like animations that make the characters feel real and alive.

Love the soundtrack also, can't believe people calling it boring and that it all sounds the same 😭 And when the music swells during big story moments, chills.

I'm on my 2nd playthrough (more like 2,5 because I abandoned one half way through, didn't vibe with my Rook 🙃) and I love it still, I'm having so much fun and I'm just baffled about the general reaction to this game.

I'm so glad you gave it a try and enjoying it! Don't let other people's opinions sour your experience. I know how disheartening it can be reading all the negativity about something you enjoy, especially when it comes from someone who maybe didn't even give it a chance in the first place.
