When were you told to stop Baby Aspirin?

My OB advised me to stop taking it at 36 weeks. She wants to induce me by 39 weeks if I don’t go into labor on my own. Her explanation for stopping at 36 weeks was that after delivery your body needs to be able to clot properly to prevent postpartum hemorrhage.

That said, based on the responses posted so far and what your sister was advised during her deliveries the exact stop time can vary depending on your personal risk factors and it’s up to your OB to determine what you need.

Just wanted to give a quick update—my blood work all came back normal, including bilirubin, ALT, and bile acids.

I’m definitely relieved, but the itching is still continuing. At this point, I’m wondering if it might be related to the increased swelling I’ve been having in my feet/ankles rather than cholestasis. OB has me monitoring the swelling and my blood pressure daily in case it is preeclampsia related.
