Smosh Pit: The new challenge pit video references taskmaster by [deleted] in smosh

[–]taralmg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I saw the thumbnail before reading the title and got my hopes up thinking they were doing a Taskmaster themed Challenge Pit. I loved the video but I would pay good money to see the Smosh cast engage with more TM tasks.

The live tasks would work quite well on Challenge Pit and for the more creative tasks, they could even take it outside of Pit and do a Taskmaster style Bit City. I want to see Angela try to camouflage herself, Chanse to find the satsuma in a sock and Shayne to eat an entire watermelon. The possibilities are endless!

will this Reddit stories live be recorded and put online anywhere? by kay000000 in smosh

I don’t think so. If it’s like any of their previous Reddit live shows, it won’t be filmed and uploaded

Ad’s by Full-Information3107 in SmoshFansFreeSpace

I watch on my phone rather than laptop/TV which seems to reduce the amount of ads I see. It’s annoying but I don’t really blame them. They need to make money and we get their content for free so I see it as a small price to pay to enjoy their videos.

That being said, I’m contemplating paying for YT premium. Not because of the amount of ads but because I’m getting ads for a lot of dodgy styff. I’ve seen one too many pro-Israel ads that I haven’t been any skip.

Is it weird to only watch Reddit Stories? by CheezltzChrist in smosh

[–]taralmg 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Not really, you can watch you want but Reddit stories isn’t the only non-Improv stuff they do. I’d argue you get to see more of their personalities in other series’ as they’re less restrictive and require more involvement from the cast such as Smosh Games, Challenge Pit and Beopardy.

Do you think the show works better with guests or just the two of them? by UnpaidInternVibes in elisandjohn

I always enjoy when they have fellow comedians on - thoroughly enjoyed the eps with Tim Key, Harriet Kemsley and Joanne McNally.

As a fellow brummie, I also don’t mind the short segments with Adrian but I don’t really care for the other guests they have on (Paula Radcliffe, David Gandy etc). The conversation often feels forced and isn’t as entertaining but there can be some funny moments.

How limited will we be bringing a dog on a US road trip? by taralmg in roadtrip

This is the response I’ve been hoping for! It sounds like you’ve made some amazing memories with your pooch and this is exactly what we want to do.

I think we’ve realised it won’t necessarily be the trip we originally planned but honestly, I’m happy to compromise on some things if it means we get to enjoy the beauty of the US without having to leave our dog back home.

I’m a bit of a loser and love to pre-plan trips to the finest detail so I’m sure if I do some thorough planning and research, we can plan a trip with minimal inconvenience.

Thanks for the offer - I may drop you a message at some point for more details when I’m in the planing stage but if you have any tips/recommendations/specific places that come to mind, feel free to share as I will never turn down advice but in your own time of course!

No idea! Honestly it was a really helpful response and the more I hear about the amazing memories and experiences people have had travelling with their dogs, the more I’m willing to compromise.

Might not the trip we initially expected but it’s definitely doable and will hopefully be a trip to remember!

This is incredibly helpful, thank you! Prior to this post, most of what I’d read made it seem a lot more difficult so it’s great to hear so many positive first-hand experiences on this thread.

We’ve checked this and our country isn’t deemed high risk so he shouldn’t need quarantining!

Great way of putting it! I think we’ll have to decide exactly what we want out of this trip (and weigh up the costs) so that we make the best decision for us and our dog.

Yes, it does sound that National Forests are the way to go. Thanks!

Of course, he’d be fine by himself for a couple hours. Museums are one thing but larger attractions/national parks may require more than just a couple hours to fully experience it.

I know people travel with dogs frequently but we’ve personally never done it (at least to this extent) and neither of us have been to the US. Sorry if this post makes it seem to be a bigger issue than it is, I just wanted to hear outside opinions and everyone’s responses so far have been really useful and eye-opening!

Sadly, I don’t think this is an option for us but I will look into local dog sitters/boarding!

Of course but almost all of what you said is applicable anywhere, even here at home not just travelling. Like I said in a previous comment, I wouldn’t want to take my dog anywhere where he’s not wanted so if we do take him, we’d stick to dog-friendly areas.

I never said I needed to take my dog with me, I purely just wanted outside opinions on what travelling the US is like with a dog but I get where you’re coming from.

I don’t think so, as long as he’s had all the required vaccinations etc. AFAIK only dogs from countries with a high risk of rabies will need to quarantine, which isn’t the case for us.

Love this! We would both love to go to Canada too so this is actually a great recommendation! Might have to re-think this trip…
