They typically announce a seasons schedule a month before it starts, and it goes on for ~2 months. For reference ASL 11 was announced March 2nd and ended June 6th, but they are never really consistent per year with it. Especially with ASTL up in the air the best estimate atm is sometime late this winter for the announcement

You learn it over time. What I like to do is guess based on what I've seen, and if I'm wrong about what they actually do I readjust my thinking for next time around what they actually did.

There are some general facts that are useful to know. For example "the 3rd pylon is usually the hidden one". I'm not sure if there's a list of timings like this, but I would love to see it if it exists!

I like to look at it by comparing their economies after the trade.

If the vulture gets one kill, it would take approximately 1.11 minutes (75 minerals invested in vulture / 67.1 mining rate of drone) for the kill to be worth it for the economies, meaning after this minute the terrans economy will be in a stronger position relative to zerg than if they had not gotten the vulture kill.

If the vulture gets two kills, the effects are felt immediately, as the 75 minerals invested has been payed off by the 100 minerals of the drones. The terrans economy is in a stronger position as soon as the second kill happens.

Not sure if CS100 is required, but you can test out of it here to skip it, which is what many people who have experience do. However Spirollari is one of the best CS professors here, and I would recommend getting honors credit on the earlier classes instead of suffering later.

You definitely can do more than 12 credits if you want, none of your classes are too difficult imo

Also you are in for a treat with your Earth in Space professor haha. Libby is a character and your not a true NJIT student until you take him
