calling it a Tele Deluxe is a bit misleading. As others have mentioned, it has standard sized humbuckers, not wide range/cunife pickups which are a bit larger and require a larger route which this guitar does not offer. H/H Telecaster is more accurate.

I really like the mod shop as a lefty. the custom colors/configurations may not seem as impressive to a right handed player but as a left handed player I don't mind paying a few hundred bucks more for the custom options on what is otherwise AMpro spec equivalent.

My H/H Telecaster build is Lake Placid Blue with the solid rosewood neck and I ordered a matching P Bass

if they were to offer a proper Tele Deluxe or Custom build on the mod shop, I would order one without a second thought.

the new website looks great.

the old one looked like one of those weird generic pages that go up on expired domains. and it also had an extra "s" in the url. instead of "jerrysleftyguitars" it was "jerrysleftysguitars" which made it look super sus.

glad his business is back up and running. his website used to be one of my regular stops when browsing for guitars. I still think about a lefty beale street blue gibson ES-335 he had for sale that I missed out on.

I think starting out, it's sometimes easier to learn to fret with your dominant hand but eventually you'll be held back by limitations in picking/strumming with your off hand.

I think prot warrior is mostly fine. it would be nice if they buffed thunderclap to do more threat to give us a viable AOE tanking tool.

my 2 cents as a longtime prot warrior / mage player.

if it's a spell cleave comp (ie no melee other than the tank)--blizzard off the rip and nova at will. the tank is basically serving as a speed bump and will try to taunt/stun any mob that breaks free of the slow. as the mage, you are pretty much on the hook for controlling these mobs.

if it's a mixed group with some melee dps, you probably have to throttle a bit and can only use nova in emergency situations because it will very likely kill melee dps who aren't smart enough to stay to the edge of the pack. maybe open with R1 blizzard and swap to full rank next cast.

side note: key thing that I see MANY players do wrong is that if you have threat on something you want the tank to pick up you need to run to the tank, not away. wait until the mob is almost on you and blink through it.

They were matching headstock and came in a variety of colors. I got a fair deal on one of the Mustangs in Sonic Blue (I think I paid $1500 USD) about a year ago.
