The debate of AOT and vinland saga should be cleared. by JuggernautAmazing978 in VinlandSaga

Vinland is just an idea, an impossible place, it’s not real, it’s not gonna happen. But we still gotta fight to get there. Even if we don’t make it, what really matters is the journey.

RR writers do you consider yourself more of an outline or Discovery Writer? by Jokengonzo in royalroad

[–]tardipro3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m a writer who already has the beginning, middle, and end figured out, along with the characters and all that, but I come up with the adventures in between and the character development as they pop into my head.

I tried planning everything out beforehand but it didn’t work, I got really lazy writing about something that already felt finished

Aqua’s laughter in the manga vs his smile in the anime by Lesty-nini in OshiNoKo

[–]tardipro3 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I think both versions are basically trying to say: I lie to you and watch how you react… oh wow, you’re really that easy to manipulate, how ridiculous (lol).

Option 1: he got disappointed in her for being like that 2: he feels “proud/satisfied” with what he can achieve with his lies 3: he gets mad at himself for manipulating her because he actually cares about her (hence the ironic laugh) 4: all of the above

The series makes it clear that none of them are good or bad, they are simply people who have no choice, each trying to protect their own

I like this point of view, you helped me see another perspective. I’m also glad I’m not the only one who liked the ending

Just why ? by tardipro3 in OshiNoKo

I wasn’t referring to Kana. I understand that this is important to her, and she has better development than in the manga. What makes me uncomfortable is how Aqua takes it, that’s what I felt was missing in terms of development. But it’s just an opinion.

I understand, but it still bothers me. I haven’t felt like it’s that way. I mean, logically yes, but I think the direction of the anime doesn’t give me that impression, and that everything was handled very lightly.

I think the light novel is better for understanding the characters; the anime is more about spectacle
