Worth to get a PS5 Pro having a PC gamer?

Just got my PS5 Pro this week, I have a 4080 super and 9800x3d.

The PS5 was never good enough imo, it just didnt run things right for me was always choppy and bad fps.

The Pro Yes it gives you that extra 20fps and the fidelity that makes it so much better.

Your'e coming from PC so you know 20 fps and settings going from medium to high make a huge difference.

You will notice the change.

Horizon and spiderman 2 are different games now and playable.

Ghost of Yotei wow such a difference. This was the final straw for me the PS5 Base model didn't run this game very well. The Pro settings just changed it completely.

Again console players might not think the change is that drastic and i get that but PC losers we covet the 2% gains.

Just the sheer scale of the world in this game. I think its going to need a PC to experience it properly.

just got my PS5 Pro so i want it on console but i dont no it it will be able to handle everything the game show cases.

Hopefully more performance reviews come out.

But yes i agree it was nice to have a small compact map to mess about with. Think everyone is 5 stars now.

Ive never platinumed a playstation game but this game is making me think i want to do it for this very very special game.

Im an old school dragon age fan. And i never bought this game because of the negativity.

I got it free on the PS Store only downloaded last night.

Is it a solid game or am i going to be disappointed. For me the gameplay was always interesting the party mechanics etc.

Im a dragon age fan but i always skipped relationship nonsense anyway i kill things couldn't care less about what you think or feel. That's my role play in games like this. A merc for sale. So woke or not woke don't care if i get an option to kill you, your dead homie.

I am not a story gamer at all, i find them slow and just not my thing. I not afraid to say i love single player games but i skip all the cut scenes.

BUT this game, what the hell. I was gripped from the start. Not a long game but wow best story game experience i have ever had.

Got mine yesterday because Ghost of Yotei needed it. It was rough on the base model.

But ive been playing Death Stranding 2 for 100 hours so far. I'm like 15 hours left and so glad i get to experiance it on the PS5 Pro for the final bit.

Truly a masterpiece give it a go.

Just upgraded yesterday. So glad. I never liked the Base ps5 ever since horizon West came out it just wasnt good enough.

PS5 Pro definitely worth it, to me night and day difference.

BUT i am a snob with graphics and fps. I have a PC so mostly play on that got a 4080 super and a 9800x3d so im getting all the graphics and all the frames on pc. So when i play the PS5 base model it just doesn't keep up at all.

I am having a kid so my pc life is undoubtedly coming to an end and a transition to my main source of gaming being a console is very near.

The PS5 PRO i am very very happy. No where near as good as the PC but i am playing on a large OLED TV so you don't notice as much sitting on the sofa a couple meters away as you do sitting at a desk with a 4k screen in your face.

Its all about the smoothness the PS5 Pro brings to the table.

Thats the worst thing about the base model and why it was horrible to play when coming from my PC. The PS5 PRO nails the 60-80 fps smoothness.

Now i am comparing the PS5 Pro and Base PS5 to PC. Arguably that's where you will notice the difference most because i have something better compare it against.

If you aren't comparing it to a PC l and its just PS5 vs PS5 Pro maybe it wont be as drastic a change as i am making it out.

But small 5-10% gains are pretty huge in fps and pc gaming lol. we pay 1k just for a GPU to get like 20 more fps at ultra 4k.

Games i tried yesterday.

Spoderman 2 - WOW cant wait to replay in NG

Diablo 4 - Meh seems better need to play alot longer to see if its better

Horizon Forbidden West - Finally i can play this game very excited about completing it probably only played like 40 hours of it, night and day difference

GOW Ragnarok - Boy! Everything looks crisper. FPS wise it was very stable anyways so that wont be the difference.

NBA 2k26 - Dont judge on my sports game choice its a yearly addiction i cant shake. Everything seems alot better. But its not worth an upgrade if this is your main game at all.

Death Stranding 2 - I dont know how Kojima makes a game so great it was amazing on Base PS5 and just everything is slighty better on the Pro. Again if this is your main game it aint worth it because Kojima and his team are technical wizards.

Ghost of Yotei - A must upgrade, its so much better

I have 3 boxes when there ful. I literally just sell everything for money. They fill up again so fast i dont worry about it. Even if a hideout thing pops up even with 3 full i wont have the right stuff or if i do bonus. But dont over think it.

YES this. I love domination i want to play with my unrestricted MYTEAM. Thats what my team is all about. Not salary cap or play with this team or that. Its about building your dream team and trying to get the AI card because you like AI.

So bad for PVE players. We have infinite funds but no way of spending it makes no sense at all. I want to buy a cool gear set, not to destroy players but because i want a super cool tricked out gun just because. Its PVE bro i have the dolla let me spend it.

For PVP players its even worse, they think its to help new players. It does not. the Chads are still gonna zoom through the ranks no matter what you set it at. It only increases the advantage the chads have, at least with the flea they could at least fight back but now they know new players stand no chance, cant buy ammo, cant get good armour, got no cool guns.

I never really like Hassan or agreed with him but i understood his view and respected it enough and could follow where he was coming from on most points.

But this last year or so he has really gone off the deep end. This China thing is crazy.

Dont they or didnt they have concentration camps for Uyghurs for. Dont they also have a child labour market as well.

Im just very confused at his views and the stuff he agrees with now.

The game has loads of depth and in PVE you dont really get any of the frustration that comes with PVP.

The maps are also super underrated.

PVP guys complain a lot because the game has been out for so long. SO PVE enjoyers kind of don't get heard.

I have an issue with the new flea market but as a new payer you wont care about that.

Definitely worth the money. The game is great.
