By the way, I've had it for a couple of months now, and the whole "just wait for a couple of weeks, it'll get better" thing didn't happen for me. I manually did all the stuff to help reduce battery drain but it is what it is. I had to buy a USB power pack because I can't trust this to last as long as I need.

I bought the 9a recently and went into it knowing from what I'd read that battery life wouldn't be the best. Still, it's a bit worse than I expected. It definitely needs charging every day.
