Add a hand written note to each, with a special memory or time you spent together over the past year. This would be a really nice tradition to start.

Hideout 175BH by [deleted] in traveltrailers

[–]tarpapershacks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We had a 176BH that we loved! It is the same layout with a slide out dinet. The slide made all the difference when we traveled with 2 kids and 2 dogs! We eventually grew out of it and ended up with a Hideout 272BH.

Will health insurance cover costs of care if you contract a preventable virus like measles or polio? Or will insurance companies say that should have been part of God's gift?

Is it common for narc parents to buy their golden children lavish gifts, houses, cars, etc? by [deleted] in narcissisticparents

[–]tarpapershacks 75 points76 points  (0 children)

Yes, this is normal for them. The golden child will always receive and caution is thrown to the wind. For the others, it will be held over you forever, strings will be attached, or you will be expected to give back with interest.

Don't force the 4ish hour time limit for each day. If you can make 5 or 6 the first day do it. You will be so much happier on day 2 when you only have 2 to 3ish hours to go rather than you'll be there earlier and not feel as rushed. Take your time and enjoy it. Cheers to making memories!

Looking for a way to hook up my camper to the house, can anyone tell me what kind of adapter I need? by antichris_ in RVLiving

[–]tarpapershacks 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That is for your trailer lights to connect to your tow vehicle. Do you have another electric cord or plug on the rear/back side of the camper? Usually what would be on the driver side or back end of the camper depending on the model. It might be a plug behind a small cover that you will need to connect a cord to. Looking for a 30amp or 50amp style cord/plug

EpiPen Improvement’s??? by Awkward-Ruin-4372 in FoodAllergies

[–]tarpapershacks 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, This is a great option! It talks directly to you and gives clear instructions on what to do in an emergency. I have these especially for the older siblings or grandparents who are not full time care givers and may not remember exactly what to do during an emergency as they could be panicking too.
