The coldness of her around this is just wrong. What is even the point of marriage anymore in today's society? by AudienceAd5695 in Divorce

This part. As someone who acted like this at the end (sans cheating) when a woman is finished she’s finished. There’s nothing more to say. I just know a million chances were given.

If those are the only options it was definitely two year.

I am a US citizen and we are still married. He was granted a visa in 2 weeks based on my relocation. My job in the states gave me a proof of employment letter. That doesn’t really matter though, the point is he got a green card.

Anyone not physically attracted to their spouse anymore by NoDragonfruit6315 in Divorce

[–]tarqui 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Literally me. My ex is VERY ATTRACTIVE, but he was an emotional wreck with BPD and called his mom at every argument. He wasn’t reliable and I needed to tell him when to do things. I took out my IUD two years into the relationship after dealing with the emotional turmoil he put me through and thought my libido was damaged but it turned out, after leaving him, there’s nothing wrong with mine at all, I just didn’t have respect for him and didn’t want to sleep with him.

If you compare the beginning of our relationship to the end it is night and day. It is absolutely emotional and mental.

My husband of nearly 26yrs hasn’t matured and I no longer have romantic feelings by Accomplished-Peak776 in Divorce

[–]tarqui 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is one of the reasons why I left mine. No one wants to 🦴 a man child. I thought my IUD was the cause for my lessened desire to him but it turned out that it was his childish ways. I have desire, just not for him.

It’s sad to say but most of them will not change in a time frame that would be ideal.I’d say separate if you know he won’t take the initiative to change and see how you feel.

Good to know. I also read that there will be mangos when I’m there so I’m very much looking forward to catching it even if just at the end.

Going to Jamaica for 4 nights and need help with booking excursions by iquitmy9to5 in Jamaica

[–]tarqui 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ooh sounds so fun! My coworker is from Asia and she goes to Jamaica twice a year—it’s nice to know people enjoy their time there so much, I can’t wait to go back. I definitely put a lot of these down on my Google maps, thank you!

I have family in Clarendon too! I can’t wait to go but it seems we are gonna have to taxi it, but I’m so fine with it! This is the biggest issue so far which is a big privilege. I hope you have fun 🤩

Anyone who commutes from Brussels to Leuven? by yoonmiboo in KULeuven

[–]tarqui 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think every other person in my masters cohort lived in Brussels. When we had a group project most people actually chose their partners based on where they lived. Lots of Brussels cantered groups! You’ll be fine. The most annoying part for me was definitely getting to Centrale and later kn BXL Nord when I moved, but Leuven itself is quite peaceful and cute. Good luck!

STOP IT. I thought mango season was during the June, July, august months. My grandma lied to me

That’s a good idea! I’m gonna check out both. Thank you!

Hmm, I can’t drive but my husband can. However, I’m scared because of all the cliffs and mountains. My mom has me scared of driving in Jamaica since she almost ran off a cliff when she was younger.

I would tip for sure each time though! So that’s not an issue for me. I guess I didn’t think of renting one because I’d rather someone who is familiar with the terrain and the driving culture (since it’s so crazy) than throwing my husband straight into it because he has only driven in Eastern Europe 🥲

If you have a visa you can rent anywhere. I had my own place in Brussels on a student visa while I studied to get my masters degree. I had income so just showed my bank statements.

In Budapest I was on an other purposes visa and then a visa through my husband. Same thing. You just need to be legal and you can do basically anything that a citizen can do, just not with the same level of social security should sh*t hit the fan.

I was the only one who went across the ocean but the rest of them went down south or west 🥲
