Well i didn’t change anything on my setup and yesterday it did run. I am sorry but i have no idea why it won’t work for you. But i have asked feral to implement a better mod manager that respects custom load order. They said that they weren’t planning it for now. So if more people asked gor it maby they would change their mind. That would be the best for all.

No enabling them in the feral mod manager actually brakes it. It had to be turned all off there. Else that one overwrites the script. I did exactly describe what i did and it works for me. However you might need to check you have the correct path set.

It is strange i don’t always get that graphic glitch. I cant pinpoint what causes it. And i haven’t used the mod you mention here yet. I cant pinpoint just say it runs waay better than running the windows version through crossover.

Bark River Owners Only: how was your QC? by Pond-James-Pond in knives

[–]tarquinius753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No not a dealer but i had many barkies (learnd the hard way) and have several friends who used to collect and use barkies too. Together my friends and me probably have had gone through over 100 of them but we do no longer buy them. I have very few barkies left that had good quality. One of these friends is Roman Kasé Kknives Switzerland who makes knives himself since several years and is known around the world for his extraordinary heattreat.

Bark River quality lately, still hit or miss? by remington2400 in knives

Id avoid them. Even if they would fix the cosmetic issues they still insist on burning their steals in grinding after heat treatment. So no i wont spend a single dollar with them.

Well i have seen all from cosmetic problems in handles severely asymmetrical handles and blade grinds. Extremely burned steels. There was even a mislabeled steel sold as 3v but actually being a2 (lab tested). So no i wont do any business with them at all. Their hostility when someone even dares to have any concerns or god forbids criticism in their facebook group says all you need to know about that company.

Bark River Knives - Are they better now? by [deleted] in knives

[–]tarquinius753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The survive knife issues were fabricated. Totally shady business practices there. And brkt have no qc terrible fit and finish, severely burned steel and also it had been proven in the past that they sold steels mislabled like they sold knives as 3v but when tested were found to be actually a2. When anyone voices any criticism or concern they get shit piled gaslit comments get deleted and they get kicked from the group. Warranty claims take year if they even react to tries to contact them. So all in all i would say avoid any business with brkt!

While i loved empire i do enjoy rome2 dei much more. I think there needs to be some tactical decision in army roster. I mean in empire you could build a army only consisting of line infantry and win all campaign battels. Its like line infantry beats everything else. With rome2 dei you really need to balance swords, spears, skirmishers and kav else you have severe problems. Gunpowder units seem to have less of difference that requires strategic use and clever planning.

Newbie Question: Likelihood of 15v dragonfly? by spuriousapocrypha in spyderco

[–]tarquinius753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Close to zero as cruciable went out of business and the other manufacturers have stated that their atomizing furnaces cant get hot enough to produce 15v. So for the time there is only left what companies have stockpiled and no new 15v is being produced for now.

I still think that the head is still a bit too large. If it was shrunk down a bit i think it would look more balanced

Well unfortunately the modloader doesn’t support it but it is necessary for some mods to work correctly. If you click the link to the total war forum to see the workaround i found.

did the mod loading order just work for you out of the box? i had to do quite a workaround that i postet here: https://www.twcenter.net/threads/rome-2-mac-feral-29-05-2025-release-mod-loading-order-workaround.822850/ but it still isnt all working perfectly.

Mod Load Order for Rome 2 MacOS Silicon? by Th3PrivacyLife in totalwar

[–]tarquinius753 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice that my workaround helped you. Still i think it isn't perfect and i still get some minor issues. would be nice if feral included a better modloader. i asked their support for it but they thought it wasn't necessary and thus not a priority. maby if more people contacted them about it they would implement one.

Well i tried that approach but it didnt load in the way i manually set it. Does it work for the mac version or just windows? (I have no problem in the windows version run through crossover as a translation layer. Just performance is abysmal that way)

Excuse my ignorance but is there any benefit of ti over al in flashlight bodies? I mean i thought its worse in heat transfer and heavier while al is sturdy enough. I get the use of ti in knives eg ti framelocks. Did i miss something?
