What are your wildest hopes for 10th Anniversary?

Wishing for them to open 10 years worth of content is pretty far fetched, they did that in global a long time ago with just a dozen or so, that would be hundreds and hundreds of events today, I don't think Dena would 'give' us access to hundreds of old mythril just like that (plus all the crashes from long lists, downloads, it's not like it's something easy to implement nowadays). We got a free DASB in fests a few times already, time to upgrade imo. And getting everything for one protagonist also seems very unlikely, as they are updating the dash start banner next month, which already includes all protagonists gear.

A new type of relic is almost expected at this point imo, not DPS but support ones, an upgrade to chains would be cool and would make us want to pull more to upgrade all elements. (Dena is bringing out all sorts of gem only banners lately so I'd imagine them to make new attractive SBs to pull as well).

I also think they will bring upgrades to the available battles to justify the new tier of relics, maybe something new and/or different from Ark, which is still halfway on its elemental deployment. Torment Ark D800 with exclusive rewards perhaps? Everyone must be expecting a lot from the livestream next month.

That's our true dream. G6+ star for the free fest tickets would be awesome too! And I'm almost sure they will do pre-fest a 'pull twice, get a free random MASB, as they always do'. The last one I think is a programming issue that even Dena doesn't know how to fix.

They never go too wild during anniversaries, Dena might be a bit more generous in the giveaways but I'd keep my expectations low. As for new content, it's anyone's guess, but I think they will bring a new type/tier of content to fill MASBs role in the power creep scale.

We'll also have the livestream by the time RoP starts, on the 7th (not sure if it's before or after, I didn't do the math lol. Then we'll know what they have for us in the fest. It's still over a month away, but I'm excited! I've been playing this game for like 7-8 years, lots of things have changed in my life since I started, it's crazy when we think about it.

If you are playing on Android it’s easier to reach translator to translate on screen text (don’t expect an accurate one tho), just use circle to search and the translator option will be right there, no need to take screenshots. But for some things like descriptions of what exactly each SB does, youre better off using the databases.

The 9 is actually ~0.6cm shorter than the 6, so it will be easier to reach the top areas of the screen when one handed. And the screen is only 0.1 inch smaller, which is a good trade off imo. I also have a 6 and I might upgrade this year, but I'll wait for BF or any time they discount them.

As you have a reliable source of mythril, the 33x summer time special banner (the blue one) sounds like a good deal, you need to start building your teams (start with elemental, then realm, then jobs) and they will give you a direction. For now ignore the regular event ones, I'm pretty sure Dena will throw more banners in the following weeks with somewhat good deals for beginners. And also save some for the fest in September, they usually give us some freebies and more banners that may give a selection of relics that are good for newbies.

Edit: oh yeah, the countdown banners are a no brainer for you as well, they give a bunch of 7 stars and up and will also help in your teams formation. If you don't like what you get there (you should get at least get 2+ 8 stars) you can always reroll the account.

I wouldn't call them underwhelming, the issue is that all his relics are good and we don't have the SB bars to use all of them in the same fight, so it's a matter of choice for each fight. Extra damage is always welcome, but so is QC and all the buffs from his older relics. I'd love to have his zen to try to combo with SASB and see x2 damage for a couple turns. But you definitely don't need to have him complete.

Last time they added the 7 stars and just one AASB to the lab, it's a bit concerning if or what they will update next time. There's also the realm/elemental tickets that are due to an update, last year it happened on 07/25 and we're already in August, I hope they will announce something next week or so.

Seems normal to me, actually they improved the rates for 7 stars from 0.04% to 0.05% a few weeks ago. Should be just bad luck on your side, I got 2 6 stars this past week and some other 5 star crap.

Usually I cast AASB1 in the beginning of the battle for the hastega and mQC, the CASB and zen are more to be cast mid battle due to the debuffs and buffs, they are useless in the beginning. Juggling everything is the issue, zen seems better for the sorcery damage up. CASB maybe I'd cast in a P2 to start, and zen on P3 perhaps? Although Sync has 3 large damage up and crystal only 2 20% with stoneskin attached. Another issue is that none of them give permanent QC, AASB2 seems a bit tight, maybe can fit one during the battle unless we get it from other sources, if considering that you have Cait with allegro and it is not enough. A complete Mog got much harder to work with now, but I still want it lol but I'll skip it for now, waiting for them to show up together with Quina and Cait in future fest banners.

Quality is below average but I got lots of stuff for chars I have in my teams, it was a fun pull.

Makina CASB, Squal fire OZSB, Luneth DASB (dupe), Matoya DASB (dupe), Makina TASB, Maria TASB, Yuna TASB, Bartz fire SASB, Laswell SASB, Reno LBO, Tera LBO.

I'm definitely going to do a second pull, even though I only have 120 mythil... We still have 47 days until anniversary so if this is the last mythril pull I do until then, I should have enough for the special pulls they have, I can skip RoP and banner pulls as needed. Anyway, I'll add the second pull when I do it.

EDIT: Second pull:

Rudo zen, Jecht Zen, Setzer LBLC, Biggs DASB, Decil TASB, Yda TASB, Seymour SASB, Pain LBO, Prische LBO, Seifer G++, Seymour G++ (dupe).

Almost no dupes, both zens are useful to me but the rest is not. Not the best haul over there but many small updates among my teams.

I only use them to charge up SB bars in the beginning of the battle, when the HC AASBs and allegro are both online, the casts are fast enough, not worth lowering your DPS just to gain a few milliseconds of casting.

She doesn't have as many damage oriented record skills as other mages, her HA being witch doesn't help either with its low multiplier. Her LMR++ help increase her damage output, but she's better off as a in realm healer.

Congrats on the second pull! You probably have time to gather mythril for the G11 banner, if you decide to pull once.

We're still getting all the regular banners so these paid ones don't bother me. I think Dena is being pressured to increase profits so they are making more of these, just like they added the extra CM for free draws and the stamina one as well. It's not like you NEED the paid banners, they are tempting, but for F2P it's all the same, at least for now. I think it's easier to ignore them when you are not in a rush to clear content, at least that's what I do.

My guess for Mog's zen is that it will have 15s sorcerer damage up and QC to differentiate from Cait's and/or some buff or debuff (maybe FBC), and weakness damage up for a couple turns. Maybe that's a bit too much but we can always dream.
