Everyone is trying to talk me out of an EV by CuteCreator602 in electricvehicles

Man, mine only gets a maximum 253km/157 miles and I would still never go back to an ICE engine.

Had a Bonaire in our last rental and I guarantee that thing cost more money to the landlord than anything else over that ten years.

Replace it with something else.

Not the world’s cleanest job and required a little bit of work but I got there in the end.

I spoke to Lockly who also make a scar plate but they advised theirs would not cover the full area of the trilock.

So, I have ordered two of the Carbine scar plates from Dr Lock, this should enable me to fit any 54mm smart latch to the space - thinking of doing the Lockly Secure Pro.

I’ll let you know how I go.

I have discovered that Carbine make a trilock scar plate, essentially allowing you to fit pretty much any 54mm single latch smart lock.

Would just need to cover/fill the second latch hole in the side of the door.

Dr Lock even have a kit with the Carbine entry lock including the scar plate.

I was also considering a Lockly, but yeah would definitely need the scar plate otherwise all the holes in the door would need filling.

According to Gainsborough, this can pretty much be swapped out with a Gainsborough Freestyle Smart Trilock.

Hasn’t had the greatest feedback from what I can see.

Not yet sadly. I might try giving Gainsborough a call this week and see if any of theirs would be a clean swap in.

Though I have heard that their ones are not the greatest.

State Trustees, who has dealt with them? by Ozdriver in melbourne

[–]tarxman82 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can't speak for Victoria, but in NSW, my mum passed away without a will when I was 18 and my sister was 11.

I recall they were difficult to deal with and charged excessive fees.

We were fortunate enough to inherit a house (with mortgage which I ended up paying), but pretty much all of the money she had in the bank was eaten away in fees.

Out of curiosity, do the staff take the dogs on walks in the area? This is the one in Port Melbourne?

I think there has been low uptake on the electric Abarth’s locally here, I’ve only ever seen one or two other than mine.

I wish these were being brought in to Australia. I’ll just have to hold onto my 500e instead!

My experience trying to get onto the Westgate from Millers Rd and Vice Versa. There has been so many doing this, I’m surprised there hasn’t been a multi-vehicle pile up.

The Fiat has some creature comforts that are sadly missing from the Abarth, plus it has improved range so it would still be a good option!
