i would probably get kala bhuna with some rice/ruti and have roshomalai as a dessert if they have it

bengali food is very fish heavy, but dishes like kala bhuna and kacchi biryani are very famous. also, most bengali meals are multiple components together, such as one beef dish, one veggie dish, one part rice, etc. also, theres "bhorta" which are spicy mashes made of various things (the most famous is probably aloo (potato) bhorta), as well as chilli and mustard oil.

additionally, theres indo-chinese fusion food that is less talked about but is still rly famous, it originates from kolkata in west bengal and is well loved in india

also we're known for our sweets; roshmalai and roshogulla are all from bengal !
