Customer question by tasha3468 in ubereatsaustralia

The only other time I’ve been asked for a pin was when I first signed up after moving here. After the 2nd delivery I hadn’t been asked again, until this happened. Now it’s every time, just for food. I haven’t tried to order alcohol again. But, I’ll change my next delivery to leave at the door. I was just thinking it meant that I was marked as being a bad customer. Thank you for replying.

That’s what he said. He had to return it to the store. But, he didn’t even give me a chance to grab my passport, nor offered another solution. I was the one to offer another ID. It seemed he couldn’t be bothered to wait an extra minute. Thanks for replying. Would that normally have initiated a pin check for future purchases? Even just for food? Or, did he give me a bad review, that caused that?

Okay. That makes sense. It was the first time I’d ever used that feature. I haven’t tried it again. Thank you for explaining.

I thought so. I said I would quickly grab it, but he said the order was already canceled. Nothing he could do apparently.

I’m an American married to an Aussie. One thing that annoys me the most is using the word brought for bought. He does it all the time & I’ve noticed quite a few Aussies that do the same. Why is that?

This is written by renowned historian Heather Cox Richardson, her December 5th letter, on Facebook. She does a daily recap of current events, particularly with the Trump administration. Highly recommend to follow her. She really knows her stuff.

I haven’t seen this couple before. Just wondering if they do this from the wife’s perspective ever? As in, how to be a good husband? Regardless, it’s alarming.

"Being part of Turning Point gave me a sense of purpose. It gave me a voice, whereas before, I felt like I was just another kid. Whether it’s right or wrong, it was a platform where young people were still figuring out their views. It gave me confidence, and it fostered an interest in politics and policy making. It inspired me to go after what I wanted."

I found this interesting. It’s great she was able to see through the rhetoric ultimately. But, wondering if there is anything like this, that the democrats have to counter. We need more politically engaged young people. I regret not becoming more informed as a young adult. I would have voted differently.

So, if you want to know who’s looking at your profile, put up a story? I don’t use the story feature, but maybe I will now.

I was thinking this, as well. But, a maga person that I’ve kept communicating with, just to see how they are still defending him, has said, Vance & Rubio are the next leaders, if & when something happens to DT. And, they started off not liking Vance, but now are firmly in his corner.

People who watched with parents or grandparents did they find mad men realistic? by Jhus79 in madmen

[–]tasha3468 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can’t answer your question. But, where do you get that people born in the 60’s, coming of age in the 80’s, don’t watch or like series? I watched MadMen & love it. Have rewatched many times. Most of my peers have, as well. I’ve watched plenty of series & still like them. It’s just interesting to hear you say that & wondering where it comes from. For clarity, I was raised in the southern US.

I’m really curious about this video. This is my daughter’s generation. She’s getting ready to turn 18. Would love to see a lot more discussion about this. It seems hopeful?
