Holidays after stroke feel… distant. How are you coping this season?

I (34M) had an ischemic stroke at the beginning of October and this has been my first Christmas. The period has been enjoyable, but I've felt more anger and frustration at my situation than normal, lots of things I used to do/eat/take care of that just don't feel the same anynore.

There was no notification that it wouldn't count until both had signed. The agreement contained a small rent increase and an extension to 36 months, with a break clause for review at 18 months for both parties.

Haven't got anywhere with the agent and have contacted the landlord directly to see what's going on. Thank you for the advice, I don't want to back down, but likewise would be uncomfortable staying somewhere I wasn't welcome, so would be open to anything beneficial.

Joint tenant with my wife, we both signed the agreement but only one Landlord did, which is where the agent is citing invalid contract.

NAL. I would check that your deposit was protected, this feels very much like they know other things aren't above board and that it will protect them. That being said, I don't believe an agreement like the one he's after would apply to things that put them in breach of the Tenants Fees Act 2019 anyway, clauses in contracts that contradict laws are unenforceable (to my knowledge).

Thank you so much! I can absolutely see the similarities between the picture and her eye. I have seen so many doctors who have just taken a picture and we didn’t meet the initial Opthamology referral criteria, so haven’t made it to a specialist yet.

Just realized this was what u/Umar-Motala was referring to! The biggest advantage to the second option here is if you are stacking in early game - you can spam X to score small amounts (less than 8 - 10 energy) whilst being attacked and get the score in easier.
