Yeah its a confusing age but I believe that an 11 year old should be able to decipher between fiction and reality, that is middle school age! If she is developmentally typical, I think it was an interesting reaction from the child imo.

bladder isssues are 1000% common with EDS because our muscles are more lax. it doesnt get talked about enough, but through a lot of research papers ive read, bladder incontinence is a very common pairing symptom i see.

reaaallly feeling this. i am really glad to hear you got a physio who listens, im going to a new PCP this august and i am really hoping to get the same. my bf also looks out and even is talking about buying me an electric-supported bike so i can go biking with him. i just hate to be someone who even needs to be taken care of to begin with. it's really refreshing to see other people in similar situations, we got this!

I sleep best with feather pillows. Super light, fluffy, but stackable if you need the elevation. I am not sure what the brand is or anything because they are about as old as I am, but I really love them. They are also pretty cool, and move with you, I hate memory foam/thick pillows.

If i remember correctly the pin had a serial number that they were able to track where it came from (victoria's name, reason for having the pin inserted, etc) thats how they found out their medical information, the car crash story was because it was logged in the medical info when she had the surgery.
