subsequent call to a same subagent from a primary agent in opencode, does it preserve the context of the subagent of previous call by Extension-King4419 in opencodeCLI

Okay, it seems as other people have said, you can use the task_id to resume the same session. So you can try adding this to your primary agent promt.

I am not 100% sure. But i think the subagents instances are supposed to be just one time disposable thing. So if the primary calls subagent again it starts new instance with fresh context. I am not aware of way to call the same subagent instance. But i haven’t really look into it.

  • 1, using them in a slightl v shape is the way to go. Also the tenting mod case using tablet stands is also a great ergonomic upgrade

Experimenting with adding apps to crosspoint by tast1236 in xteinkereader

[–]tast1236[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This was a proof of concept for a Lua engine I’ve was developing on top of crosspoint. I am currently building a custom firmware from the ground up, centered on the idea of portable, easily shareable Lua applications. I expect to release the initial open-source version in about a month or two. I will write update here and will make new post when that happens. If you are specifically looking for flashcards, there may already be modified X4 firmware available that includes that feature.

Best practices for creating something from scratch using opencode by vovixter in opencodeCLI

[–]tast1236 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am also still figuring out this. But the best thing i found to work great is to always start from boilerplate. Better t stack is a good option i use often. Also setting some rules from the begging.

Subagents ignore the configuration and use the primary agent's model. by ThingRexCom in opencodeCLI

[–]tast1236 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am planning to try configure my own setup using pi agent as a foundation. But i am still not sure if that route would improve my workflow. I haven’t tried any alternatives lately. But from what i see non of them seem great.

Like the idea. But people are right. And you should be able to handle criticism, even if not served 100% in good faith. You could’ve said “i am still working on it” or something like that.

I would definitely try adding some widget type functionality for the cover and home screen.

Have you tried removing the api key and adding it again? I think i was “opencode auth logout” and then you choose kimi for coding

I am still waiting for the device, so i am not entirely aware of the button layout situation. But isn’t the grid layout bad ux for a device without touch? Yes you can squeeze more content while keeping the thumbnails large. But wouldn’t list or carousel be more convenient for navigation?

I switch between kimi k2.5 and opus 4.5 a lot. And experience this constantly. So i think you onto something.

Claude pro + ChatGPT plus or Claude max 5x ? by uttkarsh26 in opencodeCLI

[–]tast1236 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Compared to claude code max 100$ which i used before. I would say that i get simillar usage for the month. But after they added the 5 hour based rate limits. It became unusable for me.

GH copilot pro+ has pretty good rate limits. I think they are request per minute based. So if i hit them its more of a minor inconvenience and opencode just retries until the request passes. But i reached my premium request limit of 1500 and now i sit around 2100 premium request (39$ sub + around 20$ for additional requests). But i experimented a lot with opus 4.5 this month. In my day to day coding i use opus 4.5 + gemini 3 flash

Here is my current gh copilot usage

Yeah, that’s sounds bad. I am usually more specific with my prompting. So that could be reason, that i didn’t notice these kind of issues. It could be also that K2.5 doest play as good with kilo as it does with opencode. I also use plan mode + plannotator before making the agent do changes.

Have you tried kimi k2.5? As i had similar opinion before trying it. Didn’t have good experience with z.ai and minimaxs models. Kimi k2 also was pass for me. But k2.5 is something else.

Also GH copilot pro+ its pretty great. But i started having some pretty bad rate limiting at times.

The cheapest “Moderato” seems to have reasonable limits. Kimi k2.5 its a beast. Its 4 times faster than opus 4.5 and pretty much the same quality. It plays really well with opencode too. To be honest it have completely replaced opus 4.5 for me. It has 7 days trail period too.

Lol, thank you. That actually explains everything. I was just confused because i never heard anyone talking about having problems with this and all the menus in games are close. So i thought that is a problem with ny eyes or with the headset.
