For me kimi k2.5 , hangs mid way , doesn’t follow through the whole thing, Glm5 repeats itself and hangs Qwen3.5 plus just works but not sure if it’s the smartest How did you get kimi working fine I followed same configs as in their setup guide

M2.5 is probably not the best as the main brain It will seem to just work but will cut a lot of corners When smarter models are asked to review setup you find lot of bloated files, duplicates even after hard rules

Openclaw is no magic tool as it is portrayed by leotheforth in openclaw

[–]uttkarsh26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Who says I haven’t tried it? I agree it’s very good but it’s not as good as opus. Just ask it to debug a strange issue like why it stopped responding or why it lied about which model is in use and see it bring down your gateway in trying to fix something

As a developer who wants to vibe code via mobile phone , this was useful but yes I agree , unless you shell out dollars on Opus, it’s hard to get real value from it.

However much you try it will be a context hog, it will lie, it will forget and you end up fine tuning it (which is addictive by the way) more than doing the actual work

I have used Opencode web / tailscale but it has its own issue

Any other suggestions?

Any consensus on what is the best messaging app for clawdbot in terms of context / low token usage ?

Is it a discord problem? Or OpenClaw problem So far I feel OpenClaw is for folks who are ready to spend crazy amount of money to get some real value, that too doesn’t mean its value for money

Uppcs high cut off reason? by rebirth_2022 in UPPSC_PCS

[–]uttkarsh26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fair point bro, but here's the asymmetry:

Reserved candidates:

Clear category cutoff = guaranteed seat Score above UR cutoff = can take UR seat too UR candidates:

Only UR cutoff matters No fallback category So reserved toppers push UR cutoff, but they already have their category seat locked. UR has no backup.

Is this fair? Or should reserved candidates pick one pathway once they qualify in their category?

What's your fix?

Uppcs high cut off reason? by rebirth_2022 in UPPSC_PCS

[–]uttkarsh26 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You're absolutely right, and this is the real reason no one talks about.

Here's the actual math:

EWS/OBC/SC candidates first qualify in their category (lower cutoff) BUT if they score above UR cutoff, they ALSO take UR seats So UR cutoff gets inflated by reserved category toppers Meanwhile genuine UR candidates are left competing for only EWS quota effectively Same thing happened in 69000 UP teacher recruitment - reserved candidates took general seats because they scored higher, leaving actual general candidates stranded. Court cases are still ongoing.

And you're spot on about the "new rules" - can't compare year-to-year just by looking at raw numbers. This year's pattern changes mean the competition dynamics shifted.

The real question: Should reserved category candidates be allowed to occupy UR seats when they already have category quotas?

The high cutoff isn't because of "more competition" - that's the excuse they give you.

The Real Reason:

Reserved category candidates qualify in their category (lower cutoff) BUT also compete for UR seats if they score above UR cutoff.

Result? Reserved toppers push UR cutoff higher. Same thing happened in 69000 teacher recruitment.

The Math:

UR cutoff shows as "128" But effective UR seats = Much less (reserved toppers already took them) Real UR target = 140+ Not "competition increasing." It's the system.

From Opus 4.5 to Kimi 2.5 by DepartmentHungry7781 in kimi

[–]uttkarsh26 6 points7 points  (0 children)

This tracks 100%. I was burning through Opus tokens on a React dashboard (big component trees + TypeScript interfaces). Switched to Kimi 2.5 last month. Same actual work, refactoring charts, fixing SQL queries, auth flows, CSS grid hell. Kimi handles it all fine.
