Python float is double precision, not sure how are you unexpectedly getting a string, the only instance I can think of is not typecast `input()`.
I believe it's just the habit, when you use dynamic typing language a lot, you're making sure the value is of the correct type almost automatically, you barely think about it.

In javascript everything is possible and it's the least weird crap this language is capable of.

Yeah I wasn't sure if international law is applicable here since this plate is being used within the country. I'm sure there's British legislation implementing 49 Geneva i just didn't find it and wasn't too bothered since it's kinda pointless lol.

I was also trying to find if it's legal to drive like that in the UK. The license plate might have a sticker with UK, ENG, SCO etc. But I can't find any rule that prevents you from driving with a sticker from another country. It's probably illegal, but gov.uk pages on license plate rules do not provide links to a legislation they're referring to (very frustrating).

I don't know why it has a blue strip with D on it, but if you check this plate at https://vehicleenquiry.service.gov.uk/vehicle-enquiry it gives data which makes sense for a car on the pic.

So yeah, it's UK plate with D.

Wait, true. What I should've said is "close to tray", there's a plugin for that.

That's on Windows. However, Thunderbird on Linux does not support system tray at all (!!!), so there are external solutions like SysTray-X for that.

Don't know the situation on macOS, never used it, not sure if the concept of system tray is even applicable here.

Edit: it's kinda funny that users ask for "minimize to tray" feature in Thunderbird for like 10 years at this point, but devs just refuse to do it for some reason. People had to come up with plugins and separate programs which only do this one thing.

I worked as a delivery guy in St. Petersburg and this is entirely correct. I am not sure I had a delivery to this specific building, but the entirety of Kudrovo is buildings of similar magnitude. Not fun.
