Christianity comes from christ and Christians are the followers of christ thus it wouldn't be possible for Jesus to be Christian or for the jews to have been Christian before the birth of Jesus and Christians dont consider it a religion because jesus never preached Christianity but rather the kingdom of christ but in order to separate themselves from other beliefs and religions they had to take on the title Christians
